摘要: A color filter substrate has a transmissive portion through which light rays are transmitted and a reflective portion on which light rays are reflected. A color filter substrate manufacturing method includes providing a transmissive base, forming a foundation layer over the transmissive base such that a depressed portion is formed at the transmissive portion, forming a reflective film over the foundation layer so as to have an opening at the transmissive portion, forming banks over the reflective film so as to define a deposit region, and forming a coloring element over the reflective film with droplet discharge onto the deposit region defined by the bank.

摘要: A color filter substrate includes a transmissive base; a reflective film that is formed on the base; a plurality of coloring elements having different colors that is formed on the reflective film; and a plurality of banks formed on the reflective film between the plurality of coloring elements. The bank has a transmissive portion and a non-transmissive portion. The coloring elements are formed by jetting out droplets onto deposit regions that are defined by the banks by an inkjet technique. The transmissive portion of the bank exposes the reflective film. A sufficient area is provided for each coloring element, while a sufficient area of the reflective film is exposed.

摘要: A color filter substrate has a base, a first bank for partitioning off a plurality of display dots on the base, a reflective film partially provided on the base such that a reflective portion and a transmissive portion are formed in each of the display dots, a second bank provided between the reflective portion and the transmissive portion, and coloring elements provided in areas divided by the first bank and second bank. The coloring elements that are disposed in the reflective portion and the transmissive portion of one display dot have the same color but different light transmittance rates and thicknesses. With this invention, coloring elements and other elements of the color filter substrate can be set to have different attributes in the reflective portion and the transmissive portion.

摘要: A finish composition for a precursor for high-performance carbon fibers, containing (1) 0.2-10 parts by weight of an aminocarboxylic material selected from the group consisting of carboxylic acid salts of alkylamines, carboxylic acid salts of arylamines, carboxylic acid salts of alkylarylamines, amino acids and betaine compounds, and (2) 100 parts by weight of a mixture of (a) 80-20 parts by weight of a finish prepared by adding, to (i) a silicone finish containing 50 wt % or more of an amino-modified polysiloxane having a nitrogen content in amino groups in the range of 0.05-2.0 wt % and a viscosity at 25.degree. C. of 500 centistokes or more, (ii) 0.3-5.0 molar equivalents of a lower aliphatic monocarboxylic acid of 6 carbon atoms or less with respect to 1 mole of the amino group, and (b) 20-80 parts by weight of a nonionic emulsifier consisting mainly of a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, a polyoxyethylene alkylaryl ether or a polyoxyethylene fatty acid ester. The finish composition prevents aging of a precursor during its preservation. Also provided is an acrylonitrile precursor for high-performance carbon fibers on which the finish composition is deposited.

摘要: It is an object of the invention to ensure in a series of contact lenses composed of an assorted plurality of contact lenses having mutually different optical characteristics such as refractive power or the like that each contact lens is capable of exhibiting advantageously and consistently a good wear comfort and tear fluid exchange. In order to attain the object, the present invention arranges each contact lens 10a, 10b, 10c making up the series contact lens designed and having mutually different optical characteristics in the optical zone, such that not only is a shape of the lens back surface 14 of the optical zone 28 identified, but a shape of the peripheral zone 30 is identified at least the outer peripheral zone 44 that contributes to wear comfort and tear fluid exchange.
