The apparatus for generating a constant current pulse wave comprises: a charge unit receiving a current and charging electric charges; a converter unit applying a constant voltage to a flash lamp during a first reference time and applying a constant current to the flash lamp during a second reference time by using the electric charges charged in the charge unit; and a controller operating in a constant voltage control mode to transmit a constant voltage control signal for controlling the converter unit to output the constant voltage, to the converter unit during the first reference time and operating in a constant current control mode to transmit a constant current control signal for controlling the converter unit to output the constant current, to the converter unit during the second reference time. Accordingly, a stable pulse wave of the constant current can be applied to the flash lamp.
