Furthermore the present invention relates to an oligomeric protein comprising at least a protein-S-Tag fusion protein and a S-protein-tail piece (tp) fusion protein, wherein the protein of the protein-S-Tag fusion protein is an antigen or an antibody, and the use in vaccines.

摘要: The present invention relates to non-transgenic and transgenic plants, preferably crop plants, comprising at least one mutation of the KINTEOCHORE NULL2 (KNL2) protein, especially a mutation causing a substitution of an amino acid within the KNL2 protein, preferably within the C-terminal region of the KNL2 protein, which preferably have the biological activity of a haploid inducer. Further, the present invention provides methods of generating the plants of the present invention and haploid and double haploid plants obtainable by crossing the plants of the present invention with wildtype plants as well as methods of facilitating cytoplasm exchange.

摘要: The invention identifies plants carrying certain mutations, which can be used as haploid inducers or doubled haploid inducers in plant breeding. According to the invention, significant haploid induction and even doubled haploid induction rates can be observed when at least one functional mutation within a SAD-homology domain is present, wherein the functional mutation affects the expression of certain SAD-homology consensus sequences. The present invention further provides haploid and doubled haploid plants, which are obtained by contacting a first gamete from a plant as identified according to the invention with a second gamete from a plant expressing a wild-type SAD-homology domain to generate a zygote. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method for identifying a plant having the activity of a haploid inducer or a doubled haploid inducer in a plant population.
