    摘要： Methods and systems for generating media item recommendations are disclosed herein. According to an aspect, a method may include using at least a processor and memory for receiving candidate media items associated with one or more computing devices that either has recently played or is currently playing a media item currently being played by another computing device. The method may also include determining recommendation scores for the candidate media items based on occurrence counts of the media items within a predetermined time period. Further, the method may include generating a media item recommendation for the other computing device based on the recommendation scores.

    摘要： A system and method are disclosed for providing a radio station for playback at a user device using previously obtained Digital Rights Management (DRM) locked content for the radio station. In one embodiment, a radio station application provides the radio station and DRM locked content to be used by the radio station are downloaded to a mobile user device. The DRM locked content includes a number of DRM locked songs that is used for the radio station. Thereafter, a playlist for the radio station is obtained or generated, where the playlist for the radio station includes at least a subset of the DRM locked content provided to the user device for the radio station. Playback of the playlist for the radio station is then provided at the mobile device.

    摘要： A method synchronizing digital radio content and media content for a client device is disclosed including receiving a digital radio broadcast comprising digital radio content over a terrestrial radio broadcast spectrum, wherein the digital radio broadcast includes an associated subcarrier data channel of the digital radio broadcast comprising geo-tagged Internet Protocol (IP) multicast addresses that identify streams of media content available separately over a multicast network; receiving at least one of the streams of media content over the multicast network that is selected based on a match of at least one of the geo-tagged IP multicast addresses to a current location of the client device; time synchronizing the media content to the digital radio broadcast; and presenting the time synchronized at least one of the streams of media content and the digital radio content for playback by the client device.     摘要： A skip function for a broadcast or multicast media station is disclosed. In one embodiment, two content streams are simultaneously transmitted for a single radio station. A receiving device simultaneously receives the two content streams transmitted for the radio station. The receiving device provides playback of a first content stream of the two content streams. During playback of the first content stream, the receiving device buffers one or more most recently received content items from the second content stream. When a user of the receiving device initiates a skip, the receiving device performs a skip function by switching playback from the first content stream to the second content stream beginning at the start of the one or more most recently received content items from the second content stream that have been buffered at the receiving device.
