摘要： There is provided a cable television/telephone tap, which can be set at a given position on a coaxial cable, and which is capable of practically and economically supplying a telephone service simultaneously with a cable television service, and also of quickly and economically accommodating expansions, replacements and modifications to the system. A cable television/telephone tap, using coaxial cables for splitting high-frequency signals and current for telephones and then supplying the same to subscribers includes a plurality of enclosures 1 and 2, having at least an upper side enclosure and a lower side enclosure; a branch terminal 9 for the high-frequency signals for the subscribers, which is provided on either the upper side enclosure or the lower side enclosure of a fully united enclosure wall; through-holes 7, which are provided on the same enclosure wall as the branch terminal; current-splitting wires which feed the current for telephones, the current-splitting wires being inserted through the through-holes; and a partition 43, which is provided around the through-holes in the enclosure wall, so as to assist the enclosure in surrounding the through-holes.

摘要： An automatic faucet, wherein the reference value can be reset in accordance with the state of a sink, without requiring further adjustment. The automatic faucet includes a faucet; a sink which receives water emitted from the faucet; a light generator for radiating infrared rays toward the bottom of the sink; a light receiver for receiving infrared rays, reflected from the bottom of the sink, and detecting an amount of light thereby received; a flush output portion for comparing the detection output from the light receiver with a reference value, and creating a flush output when the detection output exceeds a predetermined value; and a faucet controller for opening and closing the faucet in accordance with the output of the flush output portion.

摘要： A sensor for a flushing device having an electric solenoid operated flush valve. The sensor includes a control box, a first radiation emitting source mounted in the control box, a radiation detector adapted to detect reflected radiation from the first radiation emitting source mounted in the control box, a lens cover attached to the control box and adapted to permit radiation to pass therethrough and a control circuit contained within the control box responsive to the sensing unit and connected to the solenoid for initiating operation of the flush valve. The control circuit includes a magnetically activated device for bypassing the sensing unit to initiate operation of the flush valve and deactivate the flush valve for a fixed period of time. Also disclosed is a method of operating the sensor.

摘要： Provided is a termination coaxial connector, having a wide frequency band, which is capable of handling digital signals. A coaxial F-type receptacle connector connects to a coaxial F-type plug connector. The receptacle connector principally comprises an outer conductor 1, a insulating sliding tube 2 which is accommodated inside the outer conductor so as to slide therein, a securing member 6 for securing the insulating sliding tube to the outer conductor, and a center conductor 5 which is supported in the center of the securing member 6 The insulating sliding tube further comprises a coiled spring 4 and a termination element 3, the insulating sliding tube being ordinarily forced outwards by the expansive force of the coiled spring, but being pushed between the center conductor and the termination element when a plug connector is inserted, whereby the electrical connection is broken, the termination is cancelled and both connectors are connected. When the plug connector is removed, the insulating sliding tube is once again forced out, causing the center conductor to contact the termination element and reinstate the termination.
