    摘要: A guiding device for a freshly printed sheet has a sheet-guiding surface, which is located at a distance from an imaginary conveying surface. The sheet has a leading edge, which sweeps over the imaginary conveying surface along a sheet transport direction perpendicular to the leading edge of the sheet. The sheet-guiding surface is formed on a guide-plate arrangement and has blast-air openings. The sheet-guiding surface includes blast-air nozzles of a first nozzle configuration and of at least a second nozzle configuration. The blast-air nozzles of the first nozzle configuration produce air-jets that sweep over the sheets and are aligned with respect to the sheet transport direction. The blast-air nozzles of the second nozzle configuration produce rotational flows sweeping over the sheets.

    摘要: A process for decreasing the tendency to form deposits in plants for evaporating spent sulfite liquors used to produce woodpulp. In the process, the liquors are treated with polyacrylic acids having a low molecular weight. In order to prevent virtually any deposition and to increase the evaporation rate, an aqueous solution of polyacrylic acid having a low molecular weight is added to the spent sulfite liquor in an entrance stage of the multiple-effect sulfite liquor in an entrance stage of the multiple-effect evaporating system and an aqueous solution of a copolymer of sulfonated styrene and maleic anhydride or an aqueous solution of a polyacrylic acid having a low molecular weight is added to the spent sulfite liquor in at least one succeeding stage of the multiple-effect evaporating system.

    摘要: A gripper device of a sheet-guiding system grips a leading edge of a sheet freshly printed on at least one side thereof. The sheet is guided along an imaginary guide path in a sheet travel direction extending perpendicularly to the leading edge of the sheet. A plurality of first air blast nozzles having respective nozzle openings emit an air flow onto a surface of the sheet. The air flow has a first main flow direction extending in parallel with and in the direction of sheet travel. A plurality of second blast nozzles emit respective air jet bundles in a respective second main flow direction perpendicular to the leading edge of the respective sheet. The first and the second main flow directions, respectively, intersect at a common starting point and define an angle therebetween having a maximum value of 90.degree. and, in a condition wherein the second main flow direction of the air jet bundles is inclined with respect to the guide path, an imaginary elongation of a central air jet of the air jet bundles, respectively, passing through the guide path and impacting with the first nozzle openings.
