摘要： Processing system and method for biometrics identification uses a plurality of biometrics capture devices and one or more network servers to provide cloud based biometric processing services. One or more gateway computers regulate data traffic as between the one or more servers and the biometric capture devices. The components of the system work cooperatively to reduce system bandwidth requirements and reduce a processing load upon various system components. The components are responsive to processing requests which dynamically selectively specify constituent steps in a biometric recognition process which are to be performed by each of the components.

摘要： Predictive theft notifications are used to coordinate appropriate responses to persons who are likely to commit acts of theft. Image data is generated and processed in a computer processing device to recognize the presence of a facial image comprising a face of a person. An analysis is performed of data representative of the facial image to determine a biometric match relative to one or more biometric models of facial images stored in a database. Based on this analysis, at least one predictive notification is generated with regard to a future potential theft of merchandise from the secured facility. The predictive notification is generated based upon a determination of the biometric match.

The methods involve: performing privacy masking operations by a privacy masking component to encode at least one first captured image or first captured video with first privacy masking features obscuring privacy sensitive areas of the first captured image or first captured video; detecting an arming of an intrusion detection system or an alarm condition; and communicating a message to the privacy masking component for overriding the privacy masking operations such that at least one second captured image or second captured video is not encoded with second privacy masking features during a certain period of time, in response to the arming of an intrusion detection system or the detection of the alarm condition.
