摘要： A device for dispensing oils, antifreeze and other fluids from drums or other bulk containers has a rotary air motor which powers a gerotor-type pumping element. The pumping element has at least one magnet thereon and an electronics package is provided which counts the number of magnetic pulses which occur during the rotation of the gerotor and converts it over to the quantity of material pumped. A valve controls the flow of air to the air motor which in turn allows an operator to control the dispensing of fluid from the outlet of the pumping element.

摘要： The invention replaces mechanical actuation of the valve (22) in lubricant dispense meters (10) to provide a software driven method of controlling the dispense of fluids. The design utilizes either a pressure sensitive membrane switch or a multiple discrete position membrane switch (18) in conjunction with either a multiple discrete stage solenoid actuated valve, a proportional solenoid actuated valve or an on/off solenoid actuated valve (22) to provide operator or programmed control of lubricant dispense frequency and flow rate via the meter's microprocessor.
