摘要： A soap dispensing assembly includes a soap container and a universal dispenser. The soap container is capable of having a liquid pump or a foaming pump attached to it. The universal dispenser is adapted to house and dispense soap from the soap container regardless of whether the container has a liquid pump or a foaming pump. Using this assembly, a manufacturer may sell the universal dispenser and offer to sell the consumer liquid and foamable soap for use with the same dispenser.

摘要： A media centering spindle assembly with a spindle body and a clutch drive assembly. The spindle body includes a centering mechanism such as a rack and pinion or centering slat. The centering mechanism is configured to center and retain a media roll, ribbon supply or the like along the spindle body and includes at least one spring tab. The spring tab is deflectable from an initial position to a second position below a surface of the spindle body to allow the mounting of the media roll or the like. The assembly may be further configured as rotatable about a longitudinal axis of the spindle body with the clutch drive assembly having a friction level adjustable by rotation of a clutch adjuster about the longitudinal axis of the spindle body.

The print head bracket having alignment forks for aligning the print head with the platen. The printer also includes a platen bracket for maintaining the platen in the printer. The platen bracket being easy to remove to replace the platen.

摘要： A printer for printing indicia upon media having a frame defining a media cavity, the media cavity accessible for front loading of the media via a pivotable top cover carrying the print head. During media loading, a spindle supporting the media engages a pair of media guide rails located on opposing sides of the media cavity whereby the media is supported pushable to the rear of the media cavity into an operating position. A pair of movable centering guides are operable to center the media between them and with respect to the print head. An encoder may be coupled to the movable centering guides, to identify the media width to the printer, enabling the printer to adapt to the loading of a range of different media widths automatically. A front door carrying a take-up reel for media liner may be further incorporated into the printer.
