    摘要: An outboard motor is provided with an engine holder, an engine mounted to an upper portion of the engine holder, a drive shaft housing mounted to a lower portion of the engine holder and an exhaust structure connecting an exhaust inlet opening formed to an upper surface of the engine holder to an exhaust outlet opening formed to a lower surface of the engine holder, in an installed state. The exhaust structure has an exhaust port passage extending downward from the engine and communicated with the exhaust inlet opening, an exhaust tube extending downward into the drive shaft housing and an exhaust passage formed between the exhaust inlet and outlet openings, the exhaust passage extending horizontally in the engine holder and being formed with a catalyst chamber in which a catalyst is arranged horizontally.

    摘要: A decision is made as to whether a fabric to be knitted is tubular or flat, and density is corrected such that knitting-start density is smaller and knitting-end density is larger for a tubular fabric. Knitting-start density is larger and knitting-end density is smaller for a flat fabric. A variable density section is provided between the end part and the central part of the fabric thus correcting the density gradually. Stitches at the end part of the fabric are prevented from becoming uneven as compared with the stitches in the central part without requiring additional hardware.

    摘要: An exhaust passage structure is provided for an outboard motor unit having an engine holder mounted to a hull through a bracket, an engine disposed to an upper portion of the engine holder, a drive shaft housing disposed to a lower portion of the engine holder and an exhaust passage structure extending from the engine into water through the drive shaft housing. The exhaust passage structure has an improvement in which first and second exhaust expansion chambers are disposed on the way of an exhaust passage of the exhaust passage structure, the second exhaust expansion chamber is disposed to an upper portion of the engine holder, an exhaust tube is disposed on an upstream side of another exhaust passage which communicates the second exhaust expansion chamber with the water so that an upstream side opening of the exhaust tube is directed upward in a mounted state. The opening is opened at a position between the location of the bracket, preferably the catalyst disposed in the first exhaust expansion chamber, and an upper end of the engine cylinder so that the water does not enter the second exhaust expansion chamber even if a draft line of the water rises.
