Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for reducing greenhouse gas emission in a vessel and a vessel including the same, in which an absorbent liquid recycling unit is provided in two or more stages so that an unreacted aqueous ammonium salt solution remaining in ammonia water is removed to maintain a concentration of ammonia water at a certain level, thereby increasing a recovery rate of an absorbent liquid and preventing a deterioration in greenhouse gas absorption performance. Or in which exhaust gas is cooled by a heat exchange method, thereby preventing a decrease in a concentration of an absorbent liquid, and an absorbent liquid recycling unit is provided in two or more stages so that an unreacted aqueous ammonium salt solution remaining in ammonia water is removed, thereby increasing a recovery rate of the absorbent liquid and preventing a deterioration in greenhouse gas absorption performance.

Abstract: A drive device for a vehicle with and an exhaust gas tract connected to engine. The exhaust gas tract has a main line with an exhaust gas turbine of a turbocharger and a catalytic convertor downstream of the turbine. The exhaust gas tract has a bypass, by which at least some of the is conductible past a turbine wheel of the turbine such that the exhaust gas is conductible out of the main line at at least one a conducting-out region into the bypass line upstream of the turbine wheel. The bypass exhaust gas flow in the bypass line is conductible into the main line at downstream of the turbine wheel (41) and upstream of the catalytic convertor. To prevent overheating of the catalytic convertor, a cooling device is provided, by which the bypass exhaust gas flow flowing through the bypass line is coolable.

Abstract: A provision of assemblies and methods for treating an exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine. The treatment method comprises at least two catalyst stages. The exhaust gas is directed to a first stage catalyst. After the first stage catalyst, the exhaust is passed to an inter-catalyst stage comprising an exhaust cooling process and an oxygen enrichment process. Next, the exhaust is passed to a second stage catalyst for reducing carbon monoxide, ammonia and hydrocarbon concentration in the exhaust gas, before exiting via an outlet.

Abstract: A heat conduction member includes: a cylindrical ceramic body, a metal pipe on the outer periphery side of the cylindrical ceramic body, and an intermediate member held between the cylindrical ceramic body and the metal pipe. The cylindrical ceramic body has passages passing through from one end face to the other end face and allowing the first fluid to flow therethrough. The intermediate member is made of material having at least a part having a Young's modulus of 150 Gpa or less. The first fluid is allowed to flow through the inside of the cylindrical ceramic body while the second fluid having lower temperature than that of the first fluid is allowed to flow on the outer peripheral face side of the metal pipe to perform heat exchange between the first fluid and the second fluid.

Abstract: A cooling system for an internal combustion engine in which an exhaust purification catalyst is arranged in an exhaust passage of the internal combustion engine, the cooling system including: a cooling unit configured to cool the exhaust passage upstream of the exhaust purification catalyst; a heat transmission inhibition portion configured such that heat transfer from the exhaust passage downstream of a location cooled by the cooling unit to the cooling unit is inhibited; and a heat radiation suppression portion that is provided in a curved section positioned in the exhaust passage from a location where the heat transmission inhibition portion is provided to the exhaust purification catalyst, and that is configured to suppress heat radiation transmitted from exhaust gas flowing in the curved section to an atmosphere around the curved section through curved section passage walls forming the curved section. With such a configuration, the decrease in exhaust gas temperature can be suppressed.
