    摘要: A liquid ejecting device includes first and second housings. The first housing is movable between a proximity position and a separated position with respect to the second housing, and accommodates a liquid ejecting head. The first housing includes a cover attached to the first housing and movable with respect to the head between a protection position for the head and a retreat position, and a movement mechanism which causes the cover to move with the movement of the first housing. The movement mechanism includes a hole formed in the second housing, and an intermediate member including a protrusion movable along the hole with the movement of the cover. In the separated position, the protrusion abuts the hole in both directions in which force to move the cover between the retreat position and the protection position is applied so that the side walls restrict movement of the protrusion.

    摘要: A liquid ejection apparatus includes: a recording portion; a medium-supply portion; a support member for supporting a recording medium while facing the recording portion; a conveyor mechanism including a conveyance guide and a conveyor roller; a first housing accommodating the recording portion; and a second housing accommodating the medium-supply portion, the support member, and the conveyor mechanism. The first housing is pivotable about a pivot shaft with respect to the second housing. The conveyance guide includes a guide portion disposed downstream of the conveyor roller and upstream of the recording portion and having an inclined guide face. The guide portion is opposed to the recording portion in the second direction with a clearance therebetween. The recording portion is configured to pass through a space corresponding to the clearance when the first housing is pivoted between the ejection position and the distant position.

    摘要: A liquid ejection apparatus is provided. The liquid ejection apparatus includes a first housing, a second housing, covers and a moving mechanism. The first housing is rotatable relative to the second housing about a rotational shaft between a close position and a separate position. The covers are movable relative to heads provided to the first housing between a protection position of covering the heads and a retraction position. When the first housing is moved from the close position toward the separate position, the moving mechanism moves the covers such that an angle formed between the first housing and the second housing when a cover corresponding to the head away from the rotational shaft reaches the protection position is smaller than an angle formed between the first housing and the second housing when a cover corresponding to the head close to the rotational shaft reaches the protection position.
