The device reconfigures a correspondence between an operation for an operation area having multiple operation buttons arranged therein and a control command for an electric device. The device includes an operation history holding unit (180) for accumulating operation history for the operation area, a control command setting unit (200) for reconfiguring an available control command on the basis of the operation history, and an operation area setting unit (210) for reconfiguring a sub-area in the operation area on the basis of the operation history and the available control command.

摘要： Image browsing device and method for displaying a list so that the viewers can efficiently grasp the contents of a lot of images. The image browsing device includes an image classifying unit, a representative color extracting unit, and a representative color layout unit, and further includes a shooting date/time obtaining unit, an ordinary/extraordinary setting unit, a display mode managing unit, a representative color switching unit and the like. The image browsing device, with this structure, extracts a representative color for each image group which has been obtained by classifying images in accordance with a predetermined criterion, so that the representative color represents the image group. This enables viewers to grasp efficiently and panoramically the contents of a large number of images which are displayed in a display area of a limited size.

A candidate segment detecting section (14) detects a segment having the audio power level greater than or equal to the predetermined value as a digest scene candidate segment. A CM segment determining section (15) determines a CM segment based on a time difference between the silent segment and another silent segment. A digest list creating section (16) deletes a determined segment corresponding to the CM segment from digest candidate segments, thereby generating digest scene information based on a program segment excluding the CM segment.
