The guide rails for the circuit boards of a component carrier are provided with centering pins on their undersides and with a spring elastic holding clamp at one end as fastening element whose base is attached to the underside and whose holding tongue is bent in the direction toward the centering pin, with the distance of the front edge of the holding tongue from the centering pin being slightly greater than the distance of the front edge of the long holes of the module rails from the front edge of the longitudinal web of the module rails. At the other end of the guide rails a resilient clamping web projects as a second fastening element parallel to the centering pin. The free end of the clamping web is provided with a clamping shoulder oriented toward the centering pin for gripping around the front edge of the longitudinal web of the module rails.

A shielded module support structure 1 for printed circuit boards 2 which can be inserted on guide rails 7 and having electrical or electronic components is proposed comprising at least four module rails 4 for mounting the guide rails 7. The printed circuit boards 2 are assembled into plug-in modules 10, each having a front plate 9, wherein the front plates 9 are attached to a threaded-hole-strip using screws, the threaded-hole-strips seating in a groove 11, opening towards the front side of the module support structure 1, in the front module rail 4. In order to assure shielding of the module support structure 1 against interfering radio frequency fields, the front plates 9 are contacted with the module rails 4 using specially formed resilient contact bands 15 which can be snapped onto a seating surface 12 of the module rails 4. The resilient contact bands 15 have a plurality of break-outs 18 resiliently facing the front side of the module support structure 1 as well as a plurality of contact spikes 19 facing the seating surface 12. The resilient contact bands 15 preferentially consist essentially of flat sheet metal the upper edge 16 of which is bent for engagement into an upper engagement groove 13 and the lower edge 17 of which is bent for engagement into a lower engagement groove 14.

A device for removing a plug-in module adapted for insertion into a module rack is provided where the module rack has a front profile rail including a front strip and a front face, the front strip having a front edge. The plug-in module comprises a retaining block for securing the plug-in module to the front profile rail; a printed wiring board equipped with electronic components and screwed to the retaining block; and a front panel secured to the retaining block. The device includes a two-armed bell crank having a long lever arm and a short lever arm and being pivotally secured to the retaining block by a pivot pin. The long lever arm of the bell crank constitutes an actuation handle for the device. The device is configured such that the short lever arm of the bell crank includes an inner pressure exerting shoulder and an outer pressure exerting shoulder, where the inner pressure exerting shoulder of the short lever arm rests on the front face of the profile rail and the outer pressure exerting shoulder is disposed at a distance from and opposite the front edge of the front strip when the plug-in module is inserted into the module rack. The device is further configured such that the inner pressure-exerting shoulder is located at a distance from the pivot axis of the bell crank that is less than a distance between the outer pressure-exerting shoulder and the pivot axis.
