摘要: A fastener assembly for bringing into contacting engagement a module-mounting plate with a retaining-sleeve aperture and a module-supporting plate with a receptacle aperture includes first and second sub-assemblies. The first sub-assembly includes a shaft-retaining sleeve within which there is retained for rotation relative to the shaft-retaining sleeve a drive shaft having drive-shaft distal and proximate portions, the distal portion having defined thereabout a helical grove. The shaft-retaining sleeve is press fit within the retaining-sleeve aperture such that the drive-shaft proximal and distal portions protrude from opposite sides of the module-mounting plate. Press fit into the receptacle aperture is a shaft receptacle defining a through-bore into which protrudes a drive pin configured for selective mechanical registration with the helical groove such that rotation of the drive shaft in a first direction draws the plates into flush contacting engagement, while rotation in a second direction opposite the first direction separates the plates.

摘要: A circuit board housing assembly includes a housing; a circuit board having an opening attached to the housing; and a board removal tool having a holding member, a rivet and a pin. The holding member has an aperture corresponding to the opening and the rivet is inserted in the opening and the aperture. The rivet has a head with a proximal end and a distal end and a central axis, the head has an internal passage extending parallel to the central axis from the proximal end to the distal end, and the distal end is mechanically connected to legs extending distally from the head and having an internal surface facing the central axis. When the pin is inserted into the internal passage along a direction from the proximal end towards the distal end, the pin applies force to the internal surface of the at least two legs in a direction perpendicular to the central axis.

摘要: A locking bracket system for a pair of line replaceable modules (LRMs) includes a locking bracket assembly including an expanding member configured to be actuated to expand; and an extension bracket attached to the expanding member. The extension bracket extends from the expanding member in a direction opposite that the expanding member expands. Each of the expanding member and the extension bracket are configured to compress against a LRM to retain the pair of LRMs to a chassis when the expanding member is in an expanded position.

摘要: A printed circuit board is fixed to a resin insulation plate by using a first metal screw, and a metal casing is fixed to the resin insulation plate by using a second metal screw. The cuboid insulation plate is arranged to match the shapes of the long sides of the printed circuit board and the metal casing necessary for screw fixation. The first and second metal screws are attached to the resin insulation plate with a lateral shift. This makes it possible to reduce the insulation distance around the first metal screw on the printed circuit board and to increase the wiring pattern area and the component mounting space, realizing a reduction in the size of an electronic device.

摘要: Examples of the disclosure enable a printed circuit board to be coupled to a chassis. In some examples, a coupling mechanism includes a first body including a head portion and a shaft portion that has an inner surface defining a channel. The coupling mechanism includes a second body including a head portion and a shaft portion. At least a part of the second body shaft portion is positionable within the channel. An outer surface of the second body shaft portion is sized to enable the second body shaft portion to expand radially or move laterally within the channel when the part of the second shaft portion is positioned within the channel. Examples of the disclosure enable the printed circuit board to be coupled to a chassis in low-profile, reduced-stress manner.
