    摘要： The present invention relates to facilitating retail transactions between participating enrolled members and participating merchants who fund rebate offers targeted to enrolled members based upon a member's past account purchase transaction information, spending habits or member profile information, on qualifying purchases. Account purchase transaction information of merchants funding rebates is monitored by one or more processors at a location(s) other than the participating merchant's location to determine whether a purchase transaction was consummated between an enrolled member and a particular participating merchant, and whether such transaction entitles the member to a merchant funded rebate or reward. The remote monitoring and determining gives the rebate program transparency; no special purpose cards/accounts, or loyalty cards need to be presented by the member and no additional checkout procedures or special equipment are needed by the participating merchants. The rebates or rewards earned can be applied to various accounts, financial instruments or obligations.

A vacuum bag is placed over the workpiece, and the bag is sealed to the base using inner and outer seals. The inner and outer seals are spaced apart from each other to form a channel therebetween. A vacuum port coupled with a vacuum source is used to evacuate air from the channel.

    摘要： The invention involves facilitating retail transactions between participating enrolled members and participating merchants funding awards to said members. Incentive offers may be advertised to members, including targeted offers to specific members. Account purchase transaction information of participating merchants is a) tracked by processor(s) belonging to a tracking entity, b) monitored by processor(s) and correlated with stored enrolled member information, and c) processor(s) determine whether a purchase transaction is between an enrolled member and participating merchant and if such transaction entitles the member to a merchant funded award; with such processor(s) being located other than at the participating merchant's location. The remote monitoring and determining gives the program transparency; no special purpose cards/accounts need to be presented by the member and no additional checkout procedures need to be performed by participating merchants. The awards can be applied as a credit or offset to various accounts, financial instruments or obligations.

    摘要： A system for spacing, storing and recognizing electronic representations of handwriting and printing comprises a central processing unit that couples with a display device, an input device, and a memory. The memory includes means for spacing ink stroke representations, means for recognizing outline elements, means for performing deferred recognition, means for highlighting drawing areas and means for storing and displaying ink stroke representations. These means operate together to provide a pen-based or graphics oriented computer system with improved performance and added functionality for manipulating the space between ink stroke representations. The preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises several novel methods that provide this functionality including: a method for managing space between ink stroke representations, a method for displaying drawing elements in a visually distinct manner, a method for recognizing bullets and dashes, a method for storing ink stroke representations, a method for displaying and printing ink stroke representations, and a method for performing deferred character or word recognition.
