摘要: Part of a first signal path for amplifying a signal includes circuits for detecting a signal, and a second signal path connected to an input portion of the first signal path includes circuits for detecting the signal. A signal strength detector circuit adds outputs from the respective detector circuits in the first and second signal paths. The first signal path has a function of expanding the dynamic range in a smaller signal region as compared with the second signal path, while the second signal path has a function of expanding the dynamic range in a larger signal region as compared with the first signal path. When a radio transmitted output is variably controlled in a radio transmitter section based on a field strength detection output for a received signal, the transmitted output is optimized, resulting in minimizing consumed power and unnecessary radiation of radio waves.

摘要: A measuring system comprises a light projecting unit 1 for projecting a distance measuring light, a distance measuring optical unit 2 for projecting the distance measuring light to an object to be measured and for receiving the reflected distance measuring light from the object to be measured, a photodetection unit 3 for receiving the reflected distance measuring light from the distance measuring optical unit, and a distance measuring circuit 4 for calculating a distance to the object to be measured based on a photodetection signal from the photodetection unit, wherein the light projecting unit comprises a mixing means 40 for mixing the distance measuring light, and the distance measuring optical unit comprises an optical path switching means 42 for switching over the distance measuring light to an outer optical path or to an inner reference optical path and for allowing the photodetection unit to receive the light, and a light amount adjusting means 41 for adjusting a light amount of the distance measuring light received by the photodetection unit, wherein at least one of the mixing means, the optical switching means, and the light amount adjusting means comprises a hollow type motors 56, 57 and 58 as a driving source, and a hollow of the motor is an optical path.

摘要: The present invention relates to an optical reader for scanning a surface to be scanned by using information beam ray such as laser beam ray and optically reading a recorded information such as bar code recorded in the surface to be scanned. The optical reader is constituted such that optical beam emitted from a light source is reflected on a first rotary multiface mirror to scan on a surface to be scanned, and information beam reflected on the surface to be scanned is reflected on a second rotary multiface mirror to guide to an opto-electric transforming means. A scanning optical path for permitting the optical beam from the light source to pass therealong is formed independently from a reflecting optical path for permitting the information beam from the surface to be scanned to pass therealong. A condensing lens system including a bore diameter large enough to cover the scanning optical path and reflecting optical path as well as a single optical axis is disposed between the surface to be scanned and the first and second rotary multiface mirrors.
