Abstract: An Agent supportable device for determining a direction of an item of interest. The Agent supportable device includes an antenna configured to communicate with the reference transceiver associated with the item of interest. A receiver in the Agent supportable device is in logical communication with the antenna. A transmitter is also in logical communication with the antenna. A digital storage contains software executable upon demand via a processor in logical communication with the digital storage. The processor is operative via execution of the software to cause the apparatus to display a user interface on a visual display that includes an arrow indicating a direction of the item of interest in relation to the apparatus and a distance between the apparatus and the item of interest.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for improving a procedure based upon wireless determination of a location of agents and equipment during a procedure and quantifying conditions in an environment via automated sensors. The present invention provides apparatus and methods for wireless designation of a position of agents and equipment relative to each other based upon wireless communications amongst multiple wireless transceivers combined with ongoing monitoring of conditions present in a facility. The transceivers may be portions of nodes, and nodes may form self-verifying arrays. A user interface may provide an augmented reality view of positions of all or some the providers and equipment and condition quantifying sensors.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for verifying respective positions of Nodes based upon ultrawideband wireless communications between nodes included in an array. Values for variables derived from multiple wireless transmissions between the nodes are aggregated, and a position of a particular node may be determined based upon multiple data sets generated by multiple communications of disparate Nodes. Data is transmitted to a smart device based upon a position of a particular node and a direction of interest. In addition, the presence of an obstacle to wireless communication between some nodes may be derived from the data sets. A user interface may provide a pictorial view of positions of all or some Nodes in an array, as well as a perceived obstruction.
