    摘要： A contents using method is provided that enables a user to watch and listen to freely same contents by a simple operation by either of an image display device or a server and enables the user to use the server for other applications without a need for paying attention to transfer of an image file from the server to an electronic device. The contents using method includes a first step of storing contents by the server at a date and at a time both being designated by the user, a second step of converting quality of contents by the server according to storage capacity or display capability of a storage section and a display section making up a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant), and a third step of transferring contents obtained after the quality conversion, after having confirmed connection between the server and the PDA, from the server to the PDA.

    摘要： An impurity detector atomizes a liquid sample by injecting the sample into a chamber with a gas. In the chamber the liquid is heated, preferably by heating the gas prior to injection, to cause all the liquid to evaporate. The solid impurities contained in the liquid are thus entrained in the gas and carried to a detector region. The chamber is arranged so that all the gas and all the particles arrive at the detector region. A particle detector measures the number and size of the particles and from that measurement, the concentration of impurities in the sample can be determined. The system permits on-line operation, and produces accurate results.

    摘要： An apparatus for producing pure water from raw water, comprises a reverse osmotic membrane unit, a polisher, an ultraviolet sterilizer, a high pressure pump for forcing raw water to flow through a reverse osmotic membrane in said reverse osmotic membrane unit to produce pure water permeated therethrough, and for feeding pure water to a use point, and a circulating line extending between said use point and a suction side of said high pressure pump for circulating pure water therebetween. With this construction, degradation of pure water due to stagnation is avoided.

    摘要： A vertical hydro-hoist for conveying a slurry under pressure by using a liquid obtained from a chemical process as a driving liquid and method for operating the same, the hydro-hoist includes at least one feed chamber and a detector for detecting a relationship of specific gravities between a driving liquid, a slurry and a float desporent in the at least one feed chamber. A holding member is provided for holding the float and a device, provided for supplying or discharging a specific gravity adjusting liquid into and out of the float. After temporarily holding the float in the feed chamber, the adjusting liquid is supplied into or discharged out of the float in accordance with the relationship detected by the detector.
