摘要： An open chamber-type X-ray fluorescence analysis apparatus is provided to analyze a large-sized sample located outside the open chamber. The apparatus has a helium inlet provided in the open chamber for injecting helium gas into the chamber to replace gas within the chamber with helium, a film attaching/removing mechanism for covering the opening in the chamber with a film having high transmittance with respect to X-rays, and a gas outlet provided in the chamber for allowing gas to exit the chamber.

摘要： An optical recording medium is provided which achieves a higher recording capacity. This optical recording medium includes a base formed of thermoplastic resin which has a thickness ranging from between approximately 0.3 to 1.2 nm, a guide groove formed on the base, at least a reflective film and a phase-change recording layer successively formed on the guide groove, arid a light transmissive layer having a thickness ranging from between approximately 3 to 177 .mu.m. In this optical recording medium, the unevenness .DELTA.t of the thickness of the light transmission layer is set within the range of:.DELTA.t.ltoreq..+-.5.26(.lambda./N.A..sup.4)(.mu.m)wherein N.A. represents a numerical aperture of an optical head device of the optical disk recording and/or reproducing apparatus and .lambda. represents the wavelength of laser light utilized by the optical disk recording and/or reproducing apparatus.

摘要： An X-ray fluorescence analysis apparatus in which a collimator for defining a range of passage of X-rays, can be safely and simply attached and detached by providing a right-hand screw thread for attachment of the collimator to a housing, an X-ray generator, or an X-ray detector, and further providing a left-hand screw thread on a side of the collimator opposite to that of the right-hand screw thread. An attachment jig having a left-hand screw thread corresponding to the left-hand screw thread provided on the collimator is used to attach and detach the collimator.
