A mobile computing device may comprise or implement hardware or software configured to determine arrival at a destination and what is situated at the destination. A vehicle based communication device may communicate with the mobile computing device by way of a short range wireless communication system. The mobile computing device or the vehicle based communication device may establish a location-based service (LBS) communications session and store a description of a location associated with the destination when the mobile computing device and the vehicle based communication device reach the destination.
