摘要： A frame assembly for a scraper-chain conveyor which is usable as a drive or reversing station. The assembly has bearing units, which are supported by spaced-apart side walls. A shaft carrying a chain wheel for engagement with the scraper-chain assembly of the conveyor is mounted for rotation between the bearing units. The chain wheel is constructed from separate parts and can be readily attached to or detached from the shaft without removing the latter. The bearing units have hollow projecting parts which accommodate bearings for the shaft which are protected by seals. These projecting parts smoothly merge with the exterior of the chain wheel. The shaft has hollow end portions provided with splines which can be coupled to a journal introduced into the associated end portion from the exterior of the associated bearing unit which also provides access to the bearings and seals. This journal can then be coupled to a drive means to effect rotation of the shaft.

摘要： An apparatus for performing continuous flow chemical reactions such as oxidation, oxidative dehydrogenation and partial oxidation processes involving a reactor design characterized by controlled/optimized addition of a reactant with the objective of: (i) avoiding the explosion regime of the reactant mixture (e.g., hydrocarbon/oxidant mixture); (ii) maximizing the selectivity of the reaction to the desired product; (iii) limiting the reactor temperature gradient and therefore the threat of reaction runaway; and (iv) controlling the operating temperature of the reaction zone so that desirable temperature range is maintained over the entire zone.

摘要： A roof support unit has a pair of spaced floor girders and an advance mechanism comprising a hydraulic advance ram and a pair of relay rods connected, at one end, to a head-piece which is attached to a longwall conveyor. The other ends of the relay rods are attached to a guide element which is slidably guided by a pair of guide rails attached to the mutually-facing sides of the floor girders. The hydraulic advance ram is pivotally attached to the guide element and to the floor girders. Means are provided for aligning the ends of the floor girders remote from the head-piece when the hydraulic advance ram is pressurized.
