Abstract:
An image-forming apparatus 1 has a paper cassette 3b therein. The paper cassette is installed into the apparatus along a guide channel 46 attached to a housing frame 45 of the apparatus. A housing 44 of the apparatus has a left side surface forming front and rear opening structures 9 at a lower portion. A hold 48 is provided on an inner-upper portion of the opening structure. The paper cassette has a left-side exterior portion 50 forming a recess 51 at a position facing the opening structure. A space 52 is prepared next to the recess without impairing the original function of the paper cassette. When moving the apparatus, a worker inserts his hand into the opening structures, touching the holds with his palms and flexes his fingers in the spaces, thereby firmly gripping the holds with his hand and lifting the printing apparatus in his arms.
Abstract:
An imaging cartridge has a process unit and a toner box unit formed by integrating a new toner box and a waste toner box. The toner box unit is attachable to and detachable from the process unit. Shutters which open and close a connecting section between the new toner box and a developing device included in the process unit can be opened by manual operation when the toner box unit is attached to the process unit. Shutters and which open and close a connecting section between a cleaning device included in the process unit and the waste toner box are opened when the imaging cartridge is in the process of being moved to a prescribed position in an apparatus body.
Abstract:
In a method of construction of a reinforced concrete diaphragm floor of a nuclear reactor reinforced concrete containment vessel, a bottom surface of the diaphragm floor is provided in the form of an iron plate. The iron plate, an iron bar beam portion for supporting the load provided by concrete during a concrete pouring time, and a reinforcing bar member to be buried in the concrete of the diaphragm floor are assembled outside of a building in which the nuclear reactor is to be embodied. The above members are carried using lifting machinery and are set in a permanent receiving member which is provided on both a main body of the nuclear reactor pressure vessel and a steel member serving as a concrete mold frame of an outer wall of the nuclear reactor reinforced concrete vessel. A concrete pouring is carried out in stages so as to form successive layers of concrete during plural pouring times. After a first concrete layer has completed and the strength of the concrete layer has been established after hardening, the second concrete layer is poured on the first layer, which aids in supporting the weight of the poured concrete.
Abstract:
A plate structure block for establishing a surface layer ground is formed integrally with an iron plate on an upper surface of a reinforced concrete member. A lift metal fittings for transporting the block is installed on the block. The surface layer ground establishment block has a large ground bearing pressure and is a portable block. This block is covered on the surface layer ground and establishes the ground for operating a heavy material machinery and/or for maintaining a heavy material member. By operating a mobile heavy crane on the established ground, the working for constructing a plant is carried out. The material for constructing the ground is reused, the shape of the ground site is easily changed, and the dismantling and removal of the ground is simplified.

Abstract:
A color image forming method and apparatus using larger microcapsules each of which contains a plurality of kinds of smaller microcapsules scattered within the larger microcapsule, reacting substances that are mixed with each other to perform a coloring reaction being scattered inside and outside the smaller microcapsule. A protective wall of each smaller microcapsule is broken with a corresponding predetermined ultrasonic stimulus depending upon color component information to thereby cause the reacting substances to diffuse with each other to perform a coloring reaction and hence image printing. The conditions for breaking the protective walls of the respective smaller microcapsules that contain a color former component vary from smaller microcapsule to smaller microcapsule, or are determined depending upon the outer shapes, materials and thickness of the protective walls of the smaller microcapsules.
Abstract:
Downsizing can be achieved even with simple structure. An imaging cartridge includes an image carrier 15, a developing device 17, a cleaning device 18, a new toner box 19 and a waste toner box 20. The image carrier 15, the developing device 17 and the cleaning device 18 are juxtaposed with the new toner box 19 and the waste toner box 20. The cleaning device 18 and the waste toner box 20 are placed adjacent to each other. A first joint section 31 of the cleaning device 18 and a second joint section 37 of the waste toner box 20 are positioned so as to overlap each other in a direction perpendicular to an adjoining direction and are communicated through a communication section 34. Opposed faces of the first joint section 31 and the second joint section 37 are formed in the state of being inclined with respect to the adjoining direction. The transportation means for transporting waste toner 28, 38 are housed in respective extended regions 32, 39 formed by inclining the opposed faces 31a, 37a.
Abstract:
An imaging cartridge is detachably loaded into an image forming apparatus body. A process unit has a developing device for developing an electrostatic latent image on a photoconductor to form a toner image, and a cleaning device for collecting toner remaining on the image bearing body even after transfer of the toner image. A new toner box is detachably attached to the process unit and serves for storing therein unused toner fed to a developing device. A waste toner box is detachably attached to the process unit and serves for storing therein waste toner collected by the cleaning device. A support mechanism couples the new toner box and the waste toner box to each other so as to be supported each other in a manner allowing elastic relative displacement.
