摘要: The method includes receiving a first request coming from a first equipment at a second equipment. The first request includes a number of physical IT resources allocated for a plurality of customer edges. The second equipment sends a first response to the first equipment with a first part of physical IT resources allocated, and sends a second request to a datacenter for additional physical IT resource(s). The method further includes sending to a first domain of the first equipment a set message including a first set of primitives for setting up a virtual private network, setting up a service level agreement between the first domain and a second domain according to the primitives, identifying network resources and setting up an explicit route object, activating the additional physical IT resource(s) and reserving path according to the explicit route object set up, and confirming the establishment of the virtual private network.

摘要: The invention relates to a laser device for optical packet data transmission. Such devices are basically known in the art and comprise a laser light source for outputting a laser light beam and a laser driver for driving said laser light source. The laser device further comprises an optical modulator means for modulating a packet data stream onto said laser light beam. The optical modulator means presently available on the market, only have a low extinction rate; consequently residual light is output by said optical modulator means, even if a logical zero shall be transmitted.

摘要: A Laser device for optical packet data transmission in TDM-systems is provided. The device comprises a laser light source for outputting laser light beam and a laser driver for driving the laser light source; an optical modulator which receives and modulates the laser light beam output by the laser light source; a packet data source for outputting a packet data stream; and a modulator driver for receiving the packet data stream output by the packet data source and for driving the optical modulator in response to the packet data stream resulting in that the optical modulator modulates the laser light beam in response to the packet data stream. A filter generates an envelope signal of the data packets in the packet data stream, and a switch switches the laser driver in response to the envelope signal.

摘要: An optical demultiplexer system for separating adjacent wavelength bands without losing inter-band channels and comprising a first filter stage (210) of relatively narrow passband and relatively high selectivity in order to extract all of the inter-band channels. The first stage is followed by a second filter stage (240) of relatively broad passband and relatively low selectivity to extract the wavelength bands delivered by the first filter stage. Such a system makes it possible to use the inter-band channels, in particular for managing the network and the wavelength bands.

摘要: The method is dedicated to managing information related to the operated states of a group of nodes of a communications network, connected to one another by oriented links each associated with a maximum transmission capacity controlled by elements of the nodes that may be placed into a state from among P operating states, chosen from among an up state and a down state and/or at least one intermediate idle state. This method includes (i) obtaining, for each oriented link of each node, P values Vjj′i, where i=1 to P, respectively representative of the distribution percentages of its maximum transmission capacity between elements placed into P different operating states, and (ii) building with these obtained values Vjj′i an operating state table of the nodes of the group, which for each of the links is representative of its available, unavailable, and, if any, partially available transmission capacities.

摘要: A packet-switched communications network (PSN) includes a multiplicity of nodes (Ni) adapted to switch streams of packets benefiting from circuit emulation services, known as CES packets. The network uses a particular method of resynchronizing the CES streams. According to that method, for a CES stream intended to take an associated path (CE) from an ingress node (N1) passing through a set of nodes including a subset of nodes adapted to resynchronize CES streams selectively, effective resynchronization of said stream by a node selected from said subset is conditioned by a value representative of the cumulative jitter suffered by said stream as far as that node.
