摘要： A progressive bead forming metal die for forming beads in a metal gasket is constituted by a bead-forming die disposed between a hole punch die and an outer profile punch die. 摘要： A method for guiding a flying vehicle having a light receiver by directing a spirally scanning beam at the light receiver. A repetition reference time of the scanning of the light beam is stored in the flying vehicle before it is launched. After the flying vehicle has been launched the radiation angle of the spirally scanning light beam is controlled according to the lapse of time after launching of the flying vehicle so as to maintain a scanning area of the scanning light beam on the light receiver constant. In flight, the flying vehicle is guided so as to be on the center of the light beam according to information on a displacement of the flying vehicle from the center of the light beam and information on a displacement angle from a reference axis of the light beam determined from a period of time during which the light receiver receives the light beam.

摘要： A metallic gasket, such as for an internal combustion engine, wherein an elastic metallic plate has a pair of combustion chamber holes therethrough in adjacent relationship. Annular sealing beads are formed on the gasket in surrounding relationship to the combustion chamber holes. The beads are disposed closely adjacent so that they substantially overlap in the region between adjacent holes. At the junctions where the adjacent beads meet, the bead width is approximately equal to the bead width in the region between the junctions and in the remaining annular parts of the beads.

摘要： The present invention relates to a metal gasket for installation into a gap between a cylinder head and a cylinder block of a multi-cylinder engine by bolt fasteners. The gasket includes a base plate and a supplementary plate. The base plate has a plurality of combustion chamber openings, a plane plate portion surrounding each of the openings, and a convex cross-sectional shaped bead surrounding the plane plate portion and providing an inner and an outer sealing line on a concave side of the bead on the side of the opening and on the far side of the opening, respectively. The supplementary plate is overlapped with the concave side of the base plate and extended from a periphery of each opening to an area of the bead passing through the plane flange portion and the inner sealing line. The supplementary plate, however, is not extended to the outer sealing line. In this way, the supplementary plate forms a portion increased in thickness. Only the inner sealing line of two sealing lines overlaps with the portion which is increased in thickness having relatively wide width. The inner sealing line provides a good sealing function to seal the gap around the combustion chamber opening where the gap clearance is larger than that in the portion near the bolt fastening portion and, therefore, provides good durability during the engine operation.

摘要： A metallic gasket having a base plate made of an elastic metal plate formed with a combustion chamber hole. A bead is formed on the base plate around the combustion chamber hole. A subplate having a bead is laminated on this base plate. An edge of the subplate, around the combustion chamber hole, is folded back so as to surround and sandwich the edge of the base plate, thereby constituting a compensating rim portion having a predetermined thickness larger than that of the other portion. When the cylinder head is tightened, the metallic gasket is compressed and deformed. However, a sealing effect is assured due to the thick compensating portion.
