An example printing apparatus has a printing module (230) with at least one printhead for printing a swath of a printed image and a print controller (220) arranged to generate image and print control data for a plurality of swaths. A curing module (270) is arranged to receive, for each of the plurality of one or more swaths, image and print control data and to control, before a printed region of the print medium (250) corresponding to a particular one or more swaths arrives, one or more operating parameters of the curing module (270) based on data values within said image data and printing parameters within said print control data.

摘要: Operation of a printer for printing an image is described herein. It is determined whether ejection of imaging droplets of a print fluid via a set of nozzles for printing an outstanding image portion is sufficient for preventing clogging of the set of nozzles. Upon determining that ejection of imaging droplets for printing the outstanding image portion is sufficient for preventing clogging of the set of nozzles, printing is performed by ejecting only imaging droplets of the print fluid via the set of nozzles. Upon determining that ejection of imaging droplets for printing the outstanding image portion is not sufficient for preventing clogging of the set of nozzles, a servicing procedure is to be executed of to eject purging droplets of the print fluid via the set of nozzles.

摘要: Controlling a temperature with a servomechanism. A temperature is monitored at the servomechanism for a period of time. A difference is determined between the temperature and a target temperature at the servomechanism. A target power gain is determined at the servomechanism to produce the target temperature such that the target power gain is determined based on a non-linear determination. A power gain is adjusted at the servomechanism to the target power gain based on a result of the determination such that the temperature is the target temperature.

摘要: In examples a printing system comprises a controller and a printing device. The controller is to divide a print job into a sequence of areas, wherein an image property varies between adjacent areas. The controller is to determine a pausing point to be within a runout area at which a redivide amount of a consumable will be at or below a predetermined first amount when executing the print job when the runout area fulfills a condition. The controller is to determine the pausing point to be within a preceding area that fulfills the condition when the runout area does not fulfill the condition. The controller is to control the printing device to pause printing of the print job at the pausing point.

摘要: Techniques related to printing are described herein. According to an example, color patches are to be printed on a substrate. The substrate can be positioned on a substrate support for operation of a color sensor in a color measurement zone. Dimension and location in the substrate of the color patches are selected such that, for each color patch, at least a portion of the color patch can be positioned on a support projection in the color measurement zone. In some examples, color analysis techniques are described.
