A rotor, adapted for rotation at high speeds, has symmetrically arranged radial channels for receiving tubular containers of material to be evaluated, such for example as samples of blood. The outer end of each radially extending container is placed against a resilient abutment at the rim of the rotor, and its inner end is placed against a clamping collar arranged centrally of the rotor and having limited movement in the direction of the axis of rotation. In the initial loading position, the tubular containers are inclined upwardly from the rim toward the center of the rotor. They are clamped firmly into position on the rotor by axial movement of the clamping member which carries the inner ends of the containers downwardly, to force the containers slightly radially outwardly, compressing the resilient abutments at their outer ends. The invention relates to details of construction of the axially movable clamping member, which has a spring tending to move it to unclamping or loading position, and a latch to hold it in clamped position, against the force of the spring.

The covers are individually selectively actuated for displacement by a single mechanism which causes one of the two adjacent covers (3, 4) to be displaced while the other cover (4 and 3) remains stationary.

Wind deflector arrangement for a motor vehicle roof which has a roof opening which can be closed by a movable cover and a pivoting wind deflector which is located along the front edge of the roof opening. The wind deflector has a wind deflector body and a free edge section which forms the end edge of the wind deflector and which is inserted into a receiver which is formed on the wind deflector body. The wind deflector body is designed as a universal base section and the free edge section is selected from a group of variously designed free edge sections which can be selectively inserted into the receiver.

Flexible thermoplastic rack bar for meshing with a gear wheel, particularly for the drive of displaceable vehicle elements, like roof elements, sliding windows, and the like, having a series of supported teeth and a pull-resistant reinforcement embedded essentially parallel to a pitch line of the rack bar. The rack bar teeth are supported on at each lateral side and the reinforcement is disposed only in a cross-sectional area of the rack bar which lies heightwise between the head and the root of the rack bar teeth, preferably, substantially along a central transverse plane of the rack bar.
