摘要： The present invention relates to a package for an absorbent article with a permeable topsheet and an impermeable backsheet. The package comprises a flexible gas impermeable sheet on which the absorbent article is arranged such that the impermeable backsheet of the absorbent article is arranged on the flexible sheet. The flexible sheet is bent by describing a first section, a second section and a third section, the first section being folded over the second section such that upon folding of the absorbent article, the topsheet is arranged on itself, and the third section is folded over the first section. The longitudinal edges of the folded flexible sheet are sealed continuously by heat sealing, and the transverse edge is sealed continuously by adhesive seal.
