    摘要: A device for connecting a dust bag, the device having a mounting flange (1) and a ring (21) capable of being fixed, matching, one to a vacuum cleaner frame or to a removable vacuum cleaner support or to a linerboard, and the other to the dust bag via one of their two faces, the flange (1) and ring (21) being provided with additional matching elements for being mutually maintained by their free face, and with at least a visual mark (4,24) to facilitate their connection. The invention is characterized in that the diameter of the device is twice as much as the length of the assembled device, when the ring (21) and the flange (1) are arranged one on the other. Advantageously, the flange (1) and the ring (32) have a non-planar surface at their free face, resulting from the difference in height of the two parts, for guiding one of the parts onto the other when they are being connected.

    摘要: An adjustable surgical clamp including one or more ablation elements creates a circular lesion in a first operating mode and a linear lesion in a second operating mode. A “box” lesion surrounding all four pulmonary veins may be formed by using the clamp to create two complimentary C-shaped lesions about pairs of the veins. A thermochromic liquid crystal strip that changes color at a tissue-ablating threshold temperature may be mounted on the surgical clamp to monitor temperature of the ablated tissue. Two microwave antennae may be positioned on the jaws of the clamp relative to each other to produce a combined substantially uniform field of tissue-ablating energy between the jaws.

    摘要: An ablation assembly capable of ablating tissues inside the cavity of an organ is disclosed. The ablation assembly generally includes an ablative energy source and an ablative energy delivery device coupled to the ablative energy source. The ablative energy delivery device is configured for delivering ablative energy sufficiently strong to cause tissue ablation. The ablative energy delivery device generally includes a penetration end adapted to penetrate through a wall of an organ and an angular component that is used to position the device inside the organ after the device has penetrated through the wall of the organ.
