Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for preparing free-flowing, pulverulent alkoxycarbonylaminotriazine from an alkanolic reaction mixture which is obtained in the preparation of alkoxycarbonylaminotriazines and comprises at least one alkoxycarbonylaminotriazine, at least one cyclic and/or acyclic carbonic ester, at least one C1-C13-alkanol which optionally comprises one or two oxygen atoms in the form of ether bonds and is optionally substituted by C1-C4-alkyl and/or hydroxyl, and also at least one alkali metal or alkaline earth metal alkoxide, with or without melamine and with or without catalyst, by atomizing and drying the reaction mixture in a spray drier.
Abstract:
Process for the preparation of etherified melamine/formaldehyde condensates, in which first a methylolation of melamine with a formaldehyde component in the molar ratio of from 1:6 to 1:15, preferably at a pH of >7, is carried out. This is followed by an etherification of the resulting hydroxymethylation intermediate in the presence of a C1-C20-alkyl, preferably of a C1-C6-alcohol, particularly preferably of a C1-C4-alcohol, at a pH of 9.5 being established before, during and/or after the distillation. According to the invention, a plurality of hydroxymethylation, etherification and distillation steps follow in order to achieve an etherified melamine/formaldehyde condensate which is distinguished by a high degree of hydroxymethylation, a high solids content and a low viscosity.
Abstract:
A rotation rate sensor is described that operates on the principle of a resonant vibration gyrometer and is excited by an amplitude-regulated oscillator loop. This sensor is used for instance to ascertain the yaw speed of a vehicle. The effect of Coriolis acceleration is evaluated, which is a measure for the current yaw speed. To monitor the operability of the sensor and the associated electronics, an integrated self-test function is used, which as a so-called BITE function introduces a defined interference variable after actuation of a test input. This defined interference variable leads to an estimatable output voltage, whose occurrence is evaluated for error detection.
Abstract:
A method and system for automatic detection of cells and determination of cell features from cytological smear preparations which can recognize cells and extract their features independently of known visual cell descriptions through digital classification in a data processing system confines evaluation of the cell to the cell nuclei.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for preparing polymethylolated melamine and polymethylolated melamine compounds polyetherified with alkanol, wherein the methylolation reaction is carried out in a kneading reactor.

Abstract:
Processes comprising: providing an alkanolic reaction mixture, the alkanolic reaction mixture comprising: at least one alkoxycarbonylaminotriazine; at least one carbonic ester; at least one C1-C13-alkanol, which alkanol may further comprise up to two ether-bound oxygen atoms and may further comprise a substituent selected from the group consisting of C1-C4-alkyls and hydroxyls; and at least one alkali metal alkoxide or alkaline earth metal alkoxide; and subjecting the alkanolic reaction mixture to extraction with a polar extractant such that at least a portion of polar/ionic components present in the reaction mixture are removed, wherein the polar extractant is less than entirely miscible with an organic phase of the reaction mixture, to form an alkanolic phase comprising the at least one alkoxycarbonylaminotriazine and a polar phase comprising the polar extractant and the portion of polar/ionic components; and wherein the extraction is carried out with one or more selected from the group consisting of mixer/settler units, columns, centrifugal field separation extractors, and combinations thereof.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for dyeing leather with at least one dye F which has at least one alkaline-activable group of the formula A; where - - - - denotes the bond to the rest of the dye molecule; X is an electron-attracting radical, k is 1, 2 or 3, n is 0 or 1 and B is a CH═CH2 group or a CH2—CH2-Q group, where Q is an alkaline-detachable group, which comprises treating the leather with an aqueous float comprising at least one dye F at a pH of not less than 7.5. The present invention also relates to novel dyes which are particularly useful for reactive dyeing of leather.
