    摘要: A system and method for minimizing interference for mobile devices in a communication network that includes a macrocell base station and a femtocell having a base station. The method receives initialization data on a backhaul connection between the femtocell base station and the macrocell base station, and uses that data to configure the femtocell base station transmitting power. The method receives a user equipment identifier from a macrocell user equipment in the communication network, and determines whether the macrocell user equipment is authorized. If authorized, the macrocell user equipment is granted access to the femtocell base station. If unauthorized, user equipment information for the macrocell user equipment received on the backhaul connection is used to adjust the femtocell base station transmitting power to minimize the interference for mobile devices.

    摘要: A system and method for minimizing inter-communications system mobile-to-mobile station interference includes a plurality of base stations (BS A and BS B) and a plurality of mobile stations (MS A and MS B) each communicating with a base station using a first mode of communication. A first mobile station (MS A) sends a message using a second mode of communication upon detecting interference with another mobile station (MS B) to determine the source of the interference. Once determined, the first mobile station (MS A) communicates with its base station (BS A) which, in turn, communicates with the second mobile station's base station (BS B) using a back haul network. The second mobile station's base station (BS B) may then instruct the second mobile station (MS B) to alter its transmission characteristics based upon instructions from the second base station (BS B) in order to reduce interference and improve overall communications quality.

    摘要: The various embodiments provide a mobile station having at least a first and a second radio transceivers wherein a medium access control (MAC) layer framework coordinates the transmission and reception of the at least a first and a second transceiver systems. In addition, the various embodiments employ asynchronous connectionless links (ACL) for voice traffic on a Bluetooth™ link rather than SCO links. A central scheduler (305) interfaces with a first MAC layer (311) and a second MAC layer (321). By interacting with the MAC layers of both systems, the central scheduler (305) collects traffic information from both PHY layers at the buffer (309), including transmission/reception timing, and Quality of Service (QoS) requirements for voice traffic. Based upon the collected information the central scheduler (305) will schedule transmissions by both systems in a non-time-overlapping manner so as to avoid radio frequency interference.
