    摘要: A wedge lock clamping assembly, system and method wherein the module to be clamped in a slot in a chassis has a pair of wedge surfaces oppositely inclined to spaced-apart side surfaces of the slot. The clamping assembly comprises a pair of wedge elements on opposite sides of a movement axis and each wedge element is configured to be disposed within the slot between a respective wedge surface of the module and a respective side surface of the slot. An actuator operates to forcibly urge the wedge elements along the movement axis for causing the wedge elements to be wedged between the respective wedge surfaces of the module and respective side surfaces of the slot for clamping the module in the slot. A toggle is interposed between the wedge elements and the actuator for equalizing the force acting on each wedge element such that the wedge elements will move axially relative to one another to accommodate any difference in gap widths between the wedge surfaces of the module and side surfaces of the slots thereby to minimize any lateral shifting of the module relative to the slot while still securing clamping the module in the slot.

    摘要: A multi-flavor post-mix dispense head includes a nozzle having a plurality of concentrate inlet ports for directing concentrate(s) to a plurality of outlet ports; and a diluent inlet port for directing a diluent to an annular outlet port, surrounding the concentrate outlet ports. The annular diluent outlet port has a configuration which forms a cylindrical outlet flow of diluent surrounding a liquid stream of concentrate from any of the concentrate outlet ports. The cylindrical outlet flow of diluent combines under surface tension into a single stream to form a freely-supported cup downstream from the nozzle. The concentrates are respectively introduced through the concentrate outlet ports internally of the cup in a stream or spray to be mixed together with the diluent and then flow downstream together in a homogenous mixture.

    摘要: A fluid coupling for providing a fluid connection between an electronic module and a rack having an electrical connector to which the electronic module is connected, comprises a male coupler and a mating female coupler. The male coupler includes a male coupler body and a nipple, and the female coupler includes a female coupler body and a socket for receiving the nipple to establish a sealed fluid flow path between the male and female couplers when the couplers are connected together. At least one of the nipple and socket is mounted in the respective coupler body for limited transverse movement relative to the respective coupler body, and at least one of the couplers includes an axially extending spud that will initially telescopically engage the other coupler to initially coaxially align the male and female couplers within a first tolerance range and then to telescopically engage an alignment surface on the coupler body of the other coupler to coaxially align the male and female coupler bodies within a second tolerance smaller than the first tolerance.

    摘要: An atomizing injector includes a metering set having a swirl chamber, a spray orifice and one or more feed slots etched in a thin plate. The swirl chamber is etched in a first side of the plate and the spray orifice is etched through a second side to the center of the swirl chamber. Fuel feed slots extend non-radially to the swirl chamber. The injector also includes integral swirler structure. The swirler structure includes a cylindrical air swirler passage, also shaped by etching, through at least one other thin plate. The cylindrical air swirler passage is located in co-axial relation to the spray orifice of the plate of the fuel metering set such that fuel directed through the spray orifice passes through the air swirler passage and swirling air is imparted to the fuel such that the fuel has a swirling component of motion. At least one air feed slot is provided in fluid communication with the air swirler passage and extends in non-radial relation thereto. Air supply passages extend through the plates of the metering set and the swirler structure to feed the air feed slot in each plate of the swirler structure.
