The anvil having a cavity, a first aperture, and a second aperture. The collet having a first bore and a second bore. The drawbar having a section of the first portion disposed within the first aperture, a front section of the second portion threadedly engaged within the second bore of the collet, a rearward section of the second portion passing through the second aperture of the anvil thereby providing a bearing surface between the rearward section of the second portion and the second aperture of the anvil, and the third portion passing through the second aperture of the anvil.

摘要： A swage fastening tool is disclosed, the tool including damper valve concentrically positioned about a piston which displaces the fastener being swaged. The damper valve moves with the piston when the trigger structure of the tool is actuated to supply pressurized fluid to the piston, the damper valve being positioned relative to the piston and the flow path of the fluid to meter flow both to the piston during swaging and from the piston after swaging has been completed. The trigger is provided with a camming feature to create a component of a trigger movement to actuate a flow control valve in a simplified manner and a self-restoring resilient arm portion to return the trigger structure to its initial position.

摘要： An offset pin puller apparatus usable with a fluid-operated actuator tool for exerting an axial pulling force on a grooved fastener pin projecting through a workpiece. Jaws mounted within the apparatus are held against axial motion while an associated collet moves axially to cam the jaws into clamped engagement with the fastener pin. The jaws are released from the fastener pin by abutment of a jaw release assembly with an inner wall of the apparatus. Such abutment effects an axial and radial separation of the jaws from the collet during a return stroke of the actuation tool.

摘要： An installation tool for pin and collar fastener assemblies includes an ejector rod slidably mounted in an axial blind bore in the actuator portion of the tool. Within the blind end of the axial bore is an elongated resilient bumper adapted to engage the ejector rod to absorb momentum and energy associated with high speed movement of a severed pintail. The resilient bumper minimizes shock loading of the ejector rod and thereby prolongs the ejector rod service life.

摘要： A tool for use in installing fasteners in workpieces is disclosed. The tool includes a pintail bore which includes a passage extending through the nose assembly, the piston, and the back cap. An air channel connected to a supply of pressurized air is connected to the pintail bore. An air restriction mechanism blocks the flow of air out the nose of the tool and a pintail retaining device prevents detached pintails from exiting out the nose of the tool. Thus, pressurized air flowing through the air channel carries detached pintails out the pintail bore to a pintail collection chamber.

The tool includes a piston cylinder and a piston slidably disposed within the piston cylinder which defines a forward piston chamber and a return piston chamber within the piston cylinder. Pressurized hydraulic fluid is utilized to deploy the piston. An air return chamber is defined in part by the return piston chamber and comprises chambers configured within a handle of the tool. A supply of pressurized air is connected in fluid communication with the air return chamber. A one-way valve is positioned between the pressurized air and the air return chamber.

摘要： A breath transfer device which uses the heat of exhaled air to warm the body of the wearer of the device in cold environments, and which facilitates condensation of moisture in the device to eliminate the formation of vapor clouds. The device uses a mouthpiece into which exhaled air is blown, and a length of insulated tubing to direct the warm air to a vest-like radiating chamber garment. The moisture in the expelled air condenses on the inner surfaces of the chamber and is retained in special condensing pockets formed at the ends of internal partitions which provide a sinuous path for air flow through the chamber. Cooled dry air is finally exhausted at the lowermost point of the radiating chamber.

摘要： A pressure relief valve having a plurality of selectable, preset relief pressure settings for use in connection with hydraulic equipment. The pressure relief valve includes a manifold and a barrel fastened to the manifold. The manifold includes a chamber that houses a relief valve cartridge assembly, which includes a poppet valve. The barrel includes, a plurality of chambers, each of which houses a separate and distinct relief pressure load adjustment assembly, which includes a spring-loaded ball that engages the poppet valve. Each of the assemblies may be independently adjusted and preset to a desirable relief pressure load setting, which may be different from one another. The barrel is rotated relative to the manifold until the chamber housing the assembly that has the desired preset relief pressure load aligns with the chamber of the manifold, and, in turn, with the poppet valve.
