    摘要: A moldable collar stay device for a shirt turnover collar comprising a collar stay body and dual collar stay inserts. The shape and the length of the present device may be adjusted by fasteners which facilitate changes to the angle of the collar stay inserts and the length of the collar stay body. The device also may be shaped to accentuate the shape of a user's face. Each collar stay insert may be placed inside collar stay pockets at opposite corners of the shirt collar while the stay body lies along the exterior bounds shirt collar. The shirt wearer may adjust the device around the periphery of the collar to the desired position. Once positioned, the device will remain concealed with the collar and collar stay pockets while maintaining the ability to alter the collar shape, the collar stay length and the angle of the collar stay inserts.

    摘要: Various embodiments provide EMI shields for substrates having at least one electrical component disposed thereon. In one embodiment, an EMI shield generally includes a cover having first and second protrusions and at least one electrically-conductive member disposed along an inner side of the cover. The electrically-conductive member may be compressed generally between the substrate and the cover when the substrate is captured generally between the electrically-conductive member and the first protrusion. In addition, a compressive clamping force may be generated by the engagement of the first protrusion with the substrate and the compression of the electrically-conductive member. This compressive clamping force may mechanically retain the cover to the substrate, and also compress the electrically-conductive member against at least one electrically-conductive surface disposed on the substrate, to establish electrical conductivity therebetween that is sufficient for EMI shielding performance.

    摘要: A method of operating a storage system includes moving a block of data stored in the storage system to a new location in the storage system, such as for purposes of defragmentation. After the block has been moved to the new location, the storage system receives a request requiring access to the block. The storage system uses metadata appended to an identified block to detect that the block may have been relocated. The metadata can further be used to distinguish a block that has been relocated from a lost write.

    摘要: A method for correcting double failures in a storage array has the following steps. A storage array is organized as a plurality of concatenated sub-arrays, each sub-array including a set of data storage devices and a row parity storage device. Row parity is computed for each row of each sub-array. The row parity of a particular sub-array is stored on a row parity storage device of the particular sub-array. A diagonal parity is computed across the concatenated sub-arrays. A double storage device failure is corrected using both the sub-array row parity and the diagonal parity.
