摘要： A removable top assembly for a vehicle and method of providing a removable top cover for a vehicle is provided. The removable top assembly includes a fabric cover over a frame. The frame includes a rear bow that is pivotally connected on opposite sides to side rails and a C-pillar. A one bow is latched to a fixed transverse beam. A two bow is detachably secured to right and left side rails that are in turn attached to right and left fixed side beams of the vehicle.

摘要： A retractable roof assembly for a vehicle is provided that includes relatively movable rigid panels that are positioned to cover a passenger/cargo compartment of the vehicle in an extended position and that are stacked one above another in a retracted position. A telescoping track is provided on opposite lateral sides of the vehicle to guide movement of the roof panels. D-pillars of the roof assembly are slidable between a position wherein they are spaced from the C-pillars to a retracted position in which the D-pillars are adjacent to the C-pillars. Side windows of the vehicle are retracted into the rear quarter panel area of the vehicle.

摘要： A high pressure vortex fuel injector comprising a hollow housing or body including a plurality of passages at least one of which is adapted to receive fuel through an inlet. The injector also includes a passage for guiding the piston into seating relationship with the valve seat to control the flow of fuel through the metering orifice and a solenoid assembly for moving the piston relative to the valve seat. The injector further includes a swirl or vortex chamber, to angularly accelerate the fuel, formed in cooperation with the first surface of the valve seat. The injector additionally includes passages for permitting fuel to circulate about an electric coil thereof, thereby cooling same during instances when the metering orifice is closed. The injector further includes passages within the swirl chamber for assisting in the rapid formation of a conical spray pattern upon the opening of the metering orifice.

摘要： A cargo container for a vehicle including an enclosure or movable supporting member that is connected by a linkage to the vehicle. The linkage may be used to shift the enclosure between a transport position above the roof and a loading position behind the vehicle. The linkage has a right side and a left side. Each side has a forward member that translates the front end of the enclosure in the fore-and-aft direction. A rearward pivoting member lifts portions of the enclosure behind the forward member upwardly to clear a rear corner of the vehicle as the enclosure is moved between the transport position and the loading position.
