摘要： The described embodiments relate generally to methods, systems and security devices for authorizing use of a software tool. Certain embodiments of the invention relate to a security device. The security device comprises at least one communication subsystem for enabling communication between the security device and a first external device, wherein the first external device has a software tool executable on the first external device. The security device further comprises a memory and processor coupled to the at least one communication subsystem and configured to control the at least one communication subsystem. The memory is accessible to the processor and stores a key for authorizing use of the software tool. The memory further stores program instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to execute a security application.

摘要： A fuze for a submunition comprises a fuze housing with a stabilizer ribbon for aerodynamic orientation, a fuze slider released by tension on the stabilizer ribbon, an air-powered electric generator extended into the airstream by the fuze slider and powered in flight by high-speed airflow, a MEMS safety and arming device, a fuze circuit board including an explosive fireset, and an electrically initiated firetrain. The fuze is fixed to and communicates explosively with the end of a grenade warhead.

摘要： A method and apparatus for enabling enhanced interaction across a USB interconnect between a host and a peripheral device capable of performing a plurality of functions including enabling selection and execution of a vendor-specific support software supporting peripheral devices of a specific vendor by sending a first identification data to the host indicating that the peripheral device is of the same specific vendor and indicating that the peripheral device performs at least one of the functions indicated to be supported by the vendor-specific support software, awaiting receipt of an indication from the host that the vendor-specific support software has been selected and executed, simulating a detachment from and attachment to the host; and enabling the vendor-specific support software to again be selected and executed by sending a second identification data to the host indicating that the peripheral device is of the same specific vendor and indicating that the peripheral device performs multiple ones of the functions indicated to be supported by the vendor-specific software.

Combining phase equilibria detection with conventional density measurement permits the exploration of pressure, volume, temperature and composition at phase boundaries. The method is especially useful at high temperatures and pressures.

摘要： A safety and arming device may include a substrate and a frame fixed to the substrate. The frame may include a travel slot, a head socket, first and second gas expansion chambers having respective first and second nozzles, and first and second safety catch surfaces disposed adjacent to the respective first and second nozzles. A slider may be translatably disposed in the travel slot in the frame. The slider may include a latching head operable to latch in the head socket in an armed position of the device, a storage cavity for storing an explosive charge, first and second cantilevered arms disposed axially apart from each other and angled outwardly from the slider, and first and second deactivation cavities disposed adjacent to the respective first and second cantilevered arms. A spring may bias the slider away from the head socket.
