The security device comprises at least one communication subsystem for enabling communication between the security device and a first external device, wherein the first external device has a software tool executable on the first external device. The security device further comprises a memory and processor coupled to the at least one communication subsystem and configured to control the at least one communication subsystem. The memory is accessible to the processor and stores a key for authorizing use of the software tool.     摘要: In one illustrative example, a mobile communication device includes a wireless transceiver, one or more processors coupled to the wireless transceiver, memory, and a communications application stored in the memory. The communications application may be a VoIP telephony application which involves communication in accordance with a session initiation protocol (SIP). The one or more processors are operative to receive a public IP address assigned to the mobile communication device in a public network; cause a request for a virtual private network (VPN) connection with a private network to be communicated through the wireless transceiver; refrain from registering with a SIP server for the communications using the public IP address; and if the VPN connection is established: receive a private IP address assigned to the mobile communication device for the VPN connection and cause a request for session registration using the private IP address to be communicated to a SIP server of the private network through the wireless transceiver. If the VPN connection and the private IP address are not obtained within a specified period of time, the session registration is performed using the public IP address. Once registration with the SIP server is completed, the communications are performed in accordance with the SIP.

    摘要: The present invention provides a holder for a rectangular carton of the milk-type variety having a triangulated top with a forward pour spout and a rearward recess in the top opposing the pour spout. The holder itself comprises an upper and a lower set of rectangular arms, an upper tongue and a rearward handle. The arms in at least the upper set are resiliently spreadable for spreading outwardly to fit the tongue in the rearward recess in the top of the carbon and for thereafter rebounding inwardly to clamp to the front of the carton with the tongue fitted into position. The arms in the lower set may be additionally spreadable to assist in the fitting of the holder to the carton.

    摘要: Techniques for registering for communications for a communications application stored in a mobile device are described. The mobile device communicates, via a communication network, a request for a connection with a private network. If the connection is established within a predetermined period of time, then the mobile device receives from the private network a first IP address for assignment to the mobile device, and communicates to a server a request for registering for the communications using the first IP address assigned to the mobile device. If the connection is not established within the predetermined period of time, then the mobile device communicates to a server a request for registering for the communications using a second IP address assigned to the mobile device.

    摘要: A wireless mobile communication device includes a first processor configured to execute a software application and a second processor configured to manage wireless communication over a wireless network. The processors are located in the same communication device and configured for one of the processors to send data to the other processor under a protocol. In accordance with this protocol, if the sending processor does not receive a receipt acknowledgement for the sent data from the other processor before the end of a resend time period measured from when the data was sent, then the sending processor resends the data to the other processor after the end of the resend time period. However, the sending processor does receive the acknowledgement before the end of the resend time period, then the sending processor does not resend the data to the other processor.
