    摘要: A method for provisioning, registering and authenticating a mobile phone on a basestation is provided. The method includes receiving an addition request for the addition of a mobile station to a basestation authorization record via an interface. The method continues with creating an entry for the mobile station, where the entry includes mobile station information, and receiving a registration request including request information from the mobile station to register to receive basestation based services via the associated internet multimedia subsystem network. The method also includes authorizing registration on the IMS network based at least in part on the request information.

    摘要: A basestation 3G1x network architecture which is used to convert 3G1x control and signaling to IMS/SIP in basestation is disclosed. The system includes a user agent that bi-directionally translates between SIP messaging and CDMA messaging. The system also includes a 1x basestation emulator which may act as an interface for the 3G1x handset. The basestation emulator is also configured to terminate CDMA mobile protocol and interconnect messages and operations with the user agent. The methods include mapping between the CDMA mobile message and the SIP message through the basestation emulator and the SIP user agent. The method may facilitate basestation origination and termination as well as feature services. These feature services may include three way calling, call waiting and call waiting with caller identification.

    摘要: An apparatus, method and system are provided for roamer originated automatic telecommunication conferencing and broadcasting. The system embodiment includes a first switch for reception of a first incoming call leg from a roaming mobile unit or from another telecommunication device outside its assigned serving area. The first incoming call leg preferably designates a multiple leg service, such as a telecommunication conference, and also designates a subscriber group. Each particular subscriber group is predefined, and consists of a list of directory numbers to be included within the conference or broadcast session. In the various embodiments, the first switch communicates with a second switch or a database, and obtains a routing directory number to reroute the first incoming call leg, to form a second incoming call leg to the second switch. The system embodiment also includes a conference bridge coupled to the second switch, in which the conference bridge includes instructions to receive the second incoming call leg routed from the second switch, to determine the plurality of directory numbers associated with the subscriber group, and to return to the second switch a plurality of intermediate incoming call legs corresponding to the plurality of directory numbers for routing by the second switch to form a plurality of outgoing call legs. The conference bridge also includes further instructions to monitor answering of the plurality of outgoing call legs, and to connect an outgoing call leg indicating joinder, of the plurality of outgoing call legs, to the conference bridge for a multiple leg telecommunication session, such as a conference or broadcast session.

    摘要: Apparatus and a method for setting up a telecommunications call, wherein more than one candidate terminating station is alerted, and a connection is established from a calling station to the first of the candidate terminating stations which answer an alert. In one preferred embodiment, an executive processor complex assigns ports and processes in a call processing complex. An incoming process is assigned for the port which receives the call, and the plurality of outgoing processes are assigned to ports for accessing candidate terminating stations. The incoming port process has a list of the outgoing terminating port processes for the incoming call, and each outgoing process stores the identity of the incoming process. When an outgoing process receives an answer indication, it communicates directly with the incoming process, bypassing any communications with the executive processor complex. The incoming terminating process will establish a connection between the incoming port and the outgoing port that received the first answer indication, and will abandon connections from all of the other outgoing ports for this call. Advantageously, this arrangement minimizes the time that candidate stations which will not receive the call are alerted, and prevent such stations from receiving even momentary connections to the calling station.
