摘要: A disclosed system, method and computer readable storage medium includes mechanism for controlling cascade price movements in an electronic trading system. Price limits control the prices at which traders can place orders. An upper price limit prevents traders from placing orders above the upper limit and a lower price limit prevents traders from placing orders below the lower limit. The gap between the upper limit and the indicative market price as well as the gap between lower limit and the indicative market price is controlled so as to cause a breaking effect on very rapidly changing market price.

摘要: Position sensor (10′) and method for measuring the position of an object comprising, a sensing element and an oscillator (30) coupled to the sensing element such that an electromagnetic field is emitted from the sensing element. An output, arranged to provide a signal, varies in dependence upon a change in an electrical property of the oscillator (30). Change in object position relative to the sensing element alters the electrical property of the oscillator (30). Sensing element comprises at least one discontinuity arranged to perturb the signal at a predetermined object position. Alternatively, there is a temperature compensator in proximity to the sensing element and arranged to compensate the signal for changes in temperature.

摘要: Various embodiments of the present invention relate to a dispensing system for use in lavatories. The system may include a container, a mount, and optionally, a conversion module. The container may have an attached dispensing mechanism and a projection that is adapted to fit into a receiver on the mount or conversion module. The receiver may be adapted to engage the projection on the container. The assembled system secures the container into the mount and allows the container to be rotated to a proper orientation while it is secured to the mount.

摘要: An automatic fishing line casting system for casting a fishing line connected to an elongated fishing pole. The fishing pole having a reel and a plurality of eyelets mounted along a length of the fishing pole. The fishing line extends through each of the eyelets. The automatic fishing line casting system includes an elongated barrel that has open first and second ends. A peripheral wall extends between the open first and second ends defining a bore extending through the barrel. A projectile is removably positioned in the bore of the barrel and is couplable to a portion of the fishing line. A propellant is positioned in an interior of a cartridge for propelling the projectile from the barrel. A housing is mounted to the open first end of the barrel for holding the cartridge.

摘要: A cookware system is provided having a container, particularly a cooking vessel, at least one downwardly directed receiver, and a non-coupling handle having a contact member at its end sized to the receiver, which combination provides increased safety and utility. By virtue of the downwardly directed receiver and the upwardly directed contact member, the handle of the cookware system contacts and drives the cooking vessel only during and for so long as the operator, the cook, provides upward force to the handle to temporarily engage the cooking vessel. Upon removal of the upward force from the operator, the handle disengages from the receiver, preventing the potential that a person, whether the operator, a child or another, could contact the handle and cause a spill or burn.

摘要: Welding device to enable a welder to maintain an upright position when welding at floor level. The device is a rigid handle having a pistol-type handgrip and telescoping tubes. The telescoping tubes can be easily adjusted and interlocked, thus providing a handle that is adjustable to a plurality of lengths. The handgrip is angled approximately 90° to the longitudinal axis of the handle and provides for a comfortable and secure grip. The electrode holder used in the welding process can be releasably attached to the distal end of the device. In the Preferred Embodiment, the telescoping tubes and handgrip are hollow, so that a power cable can be fed through the device and connected to the electrode holder. Mounted on the device is a welding shield made of welder's glass, that shields the welder's eyes from the welding flame and protects the welder from sparks arising from the welding site, thus eliminating the need on the part of the welder to wear a welding hood with mask. The device provides for increased safety and comfort of the welder.
