摘要： The invention provides a composition containing a colorant and a sealer which is applied to a floor surface for the purpose of coloring or tinting the floor. The sealer may be an acrylic copolymer or a styrene acrylic copolymer. The composition can be applied to a variety of floor surfaces, including vinyl tile and concrete. The solids content of the composition varies depending upon whether a tint or solid color is desired. In addition, the invention provides a method of applying and maintaining a hard floor coating. The method includes preparing the floor surface, sealing the floor surface, applying a colored polymer to the sealed surface, and applying a clear, non-epoxy floor finish.
