    摘要: A lift mechanism for a chair device, such as a wheelchair, that is intended to engaged the frame of the wheelchair and lift and lower the wheelchair between a ground engaging position and an elevated position. The lift mechanism includes a lift arm having one end secured within and moveable with respect to a vehicle. The lift arm has another end which can extend outwardly of the vehicle to engage the chair device. The lift arm has a lift plate disposed adjacent the other end of the lift arm, which is intended to mate with or couple the frame of the wheelchair. The lift arm is in communication with an actuator which controls the movement of the lift arm between the ground engaging position and the elevated position. The lift mechanism utilizes a universal coupling system to effectuate elevation in vehicular transportation or architectural setting.

    摘要: A dolly wheel assembly for a vehicle includes a dolly wheel and a dolly wheel spindle fixedly secured to the dolly wheel such that the dolly wheel and the dolly wheel spindle rotate together as a single unit. The dolly wheel spindle is in communication with a dampening device so as to apply a resisting force to the dolly wheel spindle. Application of the resisting or braking force restricts or prevents free rotation of the dolly wheel about an axis defined by the dolly wheel spindle. The dampening device is in communication with a controller which causes the dampening device to apply the resisting or braking force or to remove application of the resisting or braking force upon demand to satisfy a variety of different conditions encountered with the vehicle operation considering functional implication of the dolly wheel assembly.

    摘要: A shiftable control console for an agricultural tractor is disclosed wherein the console is movable independently of the operator's seat to position the operative controls at the convenience of the operator. The console is mounted on pivoted linkages that are oriented to rotate the console clockwise as it is moved rearwardly to mimic the rotation of the operator's seat to an implement operating position. Fore-and-aft movement of the console is effected by an electric actuator controlled through a switch mounted on the console.

    摘要: An axial flow combine harvester feed plate assembly for directing crop material from an elevator into a longitudinally extending threshing and separating rotor is disclosed wherein the feed plate assembly includes a surface extending upwardly and rearwardly to a junction with an arcuate surface to direct the mat of crop material being conveyed by the elevator in a linear path into a spirally extending flow path around the threshing and separating rotor. For axial flow harvesters having a pair of threshing and separating rotors, the feed plate includes a central divider member and a pair of transversely spaced side members providing an infeed configuration that eliminates dead spots in the transition of the flow of crop material from the elevator to the threshing and separating rotors to provide a smooth and efficient harvesting operation.

    摘要: A vehicle with an actively adjustable axle system suitable for traveling over even or uneven terrain with a load is herein proposed. The vehicle includes a frame having a front end, a rear end, and a fore-aft axis extending therebetween; a body mounted to the frame; an adjustable axle assembly mounted to the frame such that the adjustable axle assembly is aligned substantially orthogonal to the fore-aft axis; a pair of wheels rotatably mounted on the ends of the adjustable axle assembly such that the wheels are aligned substantially in parallel and are thereby capable of facilitating moving interaction with the ground; at least one supplemental ground-interacting apparatus mounted to the frame such that each supplemental ground-interacting apparatus cooperates with the pair of wheels to thereby maintain clearance between both the frame and the body and the ground; an actuation system capable of mechanically adjusting the adjustable axle assembly to thereby adjust the fore-aft position of the pair of wheels relative to both the frame and the body; and an electronic controller mounted to the body and electrically connected to the actuation system. In such a configuration, the electronic controller is capable of communicating electrical control signals to the actuation system to thereby adjust the fore-aft position of the pair of wheels as necessary to actively maintain the fore-aft stability of the vehicle.

    摘要: A suspension system for a vehicle includes a support structure of a wheel having a forward rolling axis. The suspension system includes a first link rotatably secured at an inner end to the vehicle and in communication with the support structure of wheel at an outer end. The suspension system includes a second link rotatably secured at an inner end to the vehicle and in communication with the support structure of the wheel at an outer end. The system also includes a shock absorber having a first end in communication with one of the first link or the second link and a second end rotatably secured to the vehicle. The shock absorber is compressible to allow the support structure of the wheel to absorb impact forces imparted thereto during travel. The shock absorber is located along a longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
