Abstract: An agricultural system having at least two connectors for moving a first tool with a first marker and a method are configured to check a controllability of the tool by connecting a first actuator with at least one of the least two connectors for moving the first tool in a first degree of freedom, triggering an actuation via one connector, receiving sensor information from a sensor unit capturing a first marker connected with the first tool and determining whether the first marker moves in the first degree of freedom in response to the triggered actuation via the one connector.

The driver assistance system comprises an automatic lifting mechanism that is configured to function based on characteristics, and to optimize adjustment of at least one work parameter of the tractor depending on selectable regulation strategies and/or optimization target variables saved in the memory unit.

Abstract: Agricultural devices, row unit adjustment systems, and methods of adjusting a depth of a furrow. In some aspects, an agricultural device is adapted to plant seeds and includes a frame, a furrow opener coupled to the frame and adapted to cut a furrow including a depth, a sensor adapted to sense a characteristic associated with planting seeds and generate a signal associated with the sensed characteristic, and a processing unit receiving the signal associated with the sensed characteristic. The depth of the furrow is adjustable based on the signal associated with the sensed characteristic. Such characteristic may be a characteristic of the soil, a force applied to the agricultural device, or a position of a portion of the agricultural device.

A toolbar fixed to the chassis receives and supports the articulating tools arms. An alignment member and side shift actuator provide movement of a portion of the tool arms along an axis parallel to a longitudinal axis of the toolbar, and a lift actuator provides movement along a vertical axis.

Abstract: An agricultural planting system for controlling the depth of an opener device comprising: an agricultural planter; an opener device mounted on the agricultural planter for engaging the ground of a field; a gauge wheel mounted on the agricultural planter for rotating on the ground of the field; a GPS device coupled to the agricultural planter, the GPS device configured to determine a location of the agricultural planter in the field; and a controller in electrical communication with the agricultural planter and the GPS device, the controller having predetermined settings associated with a map of the field, the controller being configured to select a relative elevation of the opener device and the gauge wheel based at least in part on the location determined by the GPS device, and produce, based on the location, a signal for adjusting the depth of engagement into the ground of the opener device.

Abstract: A method and system for collecting agricultural measured data in an agricultural production machine that is combined with at least one agricultural attachment for fieldwork is disclosed. A sensor assembly is provided that has a sensor and a control assembly. The sensor may be integrated in combinations comprising (or consisting of) an agricultural production machine and a plurality of agricultural attachments. The sensor records measured data relating to at least one work quality parameter of the particular attachment and transmits it to the control assembly. The farming system additionally includes a local controller. The local controller includes one or more processors configured to execute a set of program instructions stored in memory. The program instructions are configured to cause the one or more processors to control one or more components of the field engagement unit.
