Abstract:
An electrical stripping and cutting tool having first and second elongated members that are pivotable about a laterally extending pivot axis relative to each other. First and second face plates are attached to distal ends of the first and second elongated members. In a closed position of the electrical cable stripping and cutting tool, the first and second face plates collectively form a single flat face plate. First and second pairs of cutting members are respectively formed on first and second sides of the first and second face plates. Cutting surfaces of the first pair of cutting members are shaped and dimensioned to cut through an outer sheath of an electrical cable having a first sheath dimension. Cutting surfaces of the second pair of cutting members are shaped and dimensioned to cut through an outer sheath of an electrical cable having a second sheath dimension.
Abstract:
The method for engaging a person's sensorimotor complex includes providing a pair of lightweight sticks of equal length and weight; measuring a shoulder width from a first shoulder blade acromion of the person to a second shoulder blade acromion of the person; selecting from the plurality of devices a first lightweight stick and a second lightweight stick each having a length approximately equal to the width from the first shoulder blade acromion of the person to the second shoulder blade acromion of the person; grasping the first and second lightweight sticks with a respective first and second hands at a grasping position along the stick that is one shoulder width from a distal end of the stick; swinging the first and second hands back and forth between a first position and a second position; and walking while swinging the first and second hands back and forth.
Abstract:
An electrical stripping and cutting tool having first and second elongated members having a distal end. The second elongated member is joined to the first elongated member such that the first and second elongated members are pivotable about a laterally extending pivot axis relative to each other. First and second face plates are attached to the distal ends of the first and second elongated members. The first and second face plates are oriented substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the first and second elongated members. In a closed position of the electrical cable stripping and cutting tool, the first and second face plates collectively form a single flat face plate. A first pair of cutting members is formed on a first side of the first and second face plates. A second pair of cutting members is formed on a second side of the first and second face plates.
Abstract:
A binder apparatus, and methods of assembly, use, and doing business, provide a base binder with a ring metal removably mounted to a binder cover. In some embodiments, the binder components are all recyclable. In some embodiments, the ring metal is removably mounted to one or more binding posts and secured in position with a locking clip slides into and out of position generally transversely to the lateral length of the ring metal. The binder can include an optional outer cover, which in one embodiment can provide a continuous outer pocket between the cover and binder. The binder can also include a removable hole punch, which in one embodiment can be removably mounted to the binding posts intermediate the ring metal and base cover.
Abstract:
A cable cutting and stripping tool is disclosed. The tool has a pair of pivotally connected levers relatively moveable between open and closed positions. Each lever includes a handle portion and a jaw portion disposed on opposite sides of the pivot. The levers have coacting cable severing blades adapted to sever a cable in a shearing action. The levers further include a pair of coacting shield insulation cutting and stripping cutters. The levers also include a coacting pair of sheath and conductor insulation cutting and stripping cutters. A process of preparing a coaxial cable for attachment of a connector is also disclosed.
