    摘要: Techniques for establishing virtual devices are presented. A legacy control system is encapsulated as a virtual device. The virtual device is isolated within a host hardware associate with a host OS and access to and from the virtual device is authenticated and controlled by the host OS. Legacy hardware used by the legacy control system is connected to the host hardware, thereby permitting the legacy control system to continue to access the legacy hardware when the virtual device processes.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, for processing graphics objects in a model space with more than two dimensions. Information specifying a first view of the model space is received. The first view is defined by a projection of a first subspace of the model space onto a two-dimensional space. The first subspace includes at least a portion of two or more graphics objects. One or more markers are defined for the first view in the first subspace. Each marker for the first view is associated with at least one graphics object in a processing sequence for the first view. An object stream is generated, which includes projected objects that describe markers and graphics objects in the first view and are arranged in the object stream according to the processing sequence for the first view. Markers for the first view can be defined outside of any other view.

The path includes multiple locations ordered along the path. A tracking zone is specified for each of the multiple locations based on the location and a previous location preceding the location along the path, where the tracking zone indicates a direction of the path at the location. A backward motion is detected between a first and a second location in the path if the first location's tracking zone overlaps with the second location's tracking zone. If a backward motion is detected between the first and second locations, a portion of the path connecting the first location to the second location can be replaced.
