A lens displacement mechanism using shaped memory alloy (SMA) applied to an auto-focusing lens module is disclosed. The lens displacement mechanism comprising at least one SMA wire. Two opposite ends of the SMA wire are fixed and a longitudinal mid-point of an intermediate movable portion between the two opposite ends is tightened and is fixed on a corresponding hook disposed on an outer edge of the lens so that the intermediate movable portion is tightened between the two opposite ends. When the SMA wire is heated, the intermediate movable portion contracts to pull the hook of the lens for driving the lens to move and slide along with an optical axis so as to achieve auto-focus control. The present lens displacement mechanism is simple in structure and reflow process. Therefore, the present displacement mechanism is suitable to be used in portable camera or mobile phone or PDA, which needs to be small and have easily mass production by SMT.

A LED array flash for cameras includes a LED array and a controller. The LED array consists of at least one LED light source with first order lens. The LED light source may be further covered with a second order lens. Thus an oblong or round distribution pattern with uniform light intensity is emitted. The controller is used to control flash modes such as low brightness continuous lighting or high brightness pulse lighting with lighting time control so as to save power and avoid overheating.

A stacked disk-shaped optical lens array, a stacked lens module and a method of manufacturing the same are revealed. The stacked disk-shaped optical lens array is produced by at least tow disk-shaped optical lens arrays whose optical axes are aligned. After the optical axes of the stacked disk-shaped optical lens array being aligned by alignment fixtures, the stacked disk-shaped optical lens array is cut to produce a single stacked optical lens element. The optical lens element and optical elements required are mounted into a lens holder to form the stacked lens module. The stacked lens module produced by the method has optical lens elements whose axes are aligned precisely. The processes for manufacturing lens modules are simplified and the cost is reduced.

A lens holder of a stacked lens module and a manufacturing method thereof are revealed. A stacked lens submodule is used as a molded molding insert to be set into a mold cavity. The molding insert is aligned in the alignment fixture and the clamp of the mold by injection molding or press molding. After molding process, a lens module included the stacked lens submodule as well as the lens holder is formed. Thereby the manufacturing method of conventional lens assemblies or lens modules is improved. Moreover, the processes are simplified and the yield rate is increased. Furthermore, the molded lens module is packed into the lens more easily so that it is suitable to be applied to camera lenses, small lenses and mobile phone lenses.

The TTL (total tracking length) can only be adjusted through the arrangement of the distance of the four reflecting mirrors and will not need to adjust through the angle of the four reflecting mirrors. Accordingly, the benefit of present invention not only increases the field of depth by increasing the total length of optical path in the limited space, but also be convenient to assemble respectively to different total tracking length.

A two-element f-θ lens used for a micro-electro mechanical system (MEMS) laser scanning unit includes a first lens and a second lens, the first lens is a biconvex lens, the second lens is a meniscus lens of which the convex surface is disposed on a side of a MEMS mirror, at least one optical surface is an Aspherical surface in both main scanning direction and sub scanning direction, and satisfies special optical conditions. The two-element f-θ lens corrects the nonlinear relationship between scanned angle and the time into the linear relationship between the image spot distances and the time. Meanwhile, the two-element f-θ lens focuses the scan light to the target in the main scanning and sun scanning directions, such that the purpose of the scanning linearity effect and the high resolution scanning can be achieved.

A rectangular stacked lens module and a manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. The rectangular stacked lens module is produced by cutting straight lines through a stacked lens module array. Firstly, it produces at least two lens arrays. Each lens array includes a plurality of optical lenses by multi-cavity glass molding and at least one alignment member disposed on the non-optical area of the lens array. Then at least the two lens arrays are assembled by the alignment members and are stacked with other optical elements so as to form a stacked lens module array. The optical axis of each optical lens is aligned easily with each other so as to meet requirements for optical precision. Moreover, the manufacturing processes are simplified and the purposes of mass-production and low cost are achieved.

A rectangular optical glass lens and a manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. A rectangular glass blank is put between an upper mold and a lower mold of a multi-cavity mold and then being heated and pressured. The rectangular glass blank is molded into a lens sheet having a plurality of optical surfaces and the lens sheet is cut to form a plurality of rectangular optical glass lenses. The rectangular optical glass lens produced by such method includes two optical surfaces working as optical areas and a rectangle circumference on non-optical area surrounding the optical surface. The circumference is a rectangular part with four right angles on each corner while the right angles as well as the rectangular shape are formed by cutting of the lens sheet. Thus the manufacturing method of rectangular optical glass lenses are simplified and the produced lens is assembled with a lens module conveniently.

A MEMS oscillating laser scanning unit (LSU) composed of a MEMS Control Module, a Pre-scan Module and a Post-scan Module is disclosed. The MEMS Control Module consists of a laser source and a MEMS oscillating mirror. The laser source and the MEMS oscillating mirror both are aligned with the same side, opposite to target surface so that laser beam emits from the side of the target surface, reverses by a reflection mirror of the Pre-scan Module and then moves along a plane formed by a central axis as well as an oscillatory rotary axis of the MEMS oscillating mirror, enters center of the MEMS oscillatory mirror. Thus, scanning spots on the target surface are all symmetrical to the central axis. Thus effective area of the MEMS oscillating mirror is reduced and further reduce the cost as well as improve scanning efficiency. Moreover, design of the fθ Lens is simpler and the volume of the LSU is reduced.
