    摘要: A belt-type continuously variable transmission is provided with a housing end wall that is formed with a bearing mounting hole, through which one end portion of a primary shaft penetrates, a rolling bearing that rotatably supports, in a state that it is fitted in the bearing mounting hole, the one end portion of the primary shaft having a primary pulley, a flange that projects from the inside circumferential surface of the bearing mounting hole on the housing inward side, a bearing retainer that is provided on the outside surface of the end wall and cooperates with the flange to pinch the bearing, and a cover that is connected to the housing and covers the one end portion of the primary shaft and the bearing retainer.

    摘要: A structure for supporting a one-way clutch between a planetary gear mechanism and the casing of an automatic transmission. The one-way clutch prevents reverse rotation of a speed-change gear. In the one-way clutch, an outer race and the planetary gear mechanism are integrally fixed to each other. An inner race and the casing are in meshing engagement with each other through a spline formed therebetween. Further, a meshing clearance is formed in the spline such that the inner race can move radially relative to the casing within a range of maintaining the meshed state.

    摘要: A decelerating-side tooth surface of each tooth of a drive gear contacts a corresponding one of teeth of a driven gear to transmit torque when torque transmitted between the drive gear and the driven gear is maximum, and is formed as follows. The decelerating-side tooth surface protrudes toward the corresponding tooth of the driven gear and has a circular arc curvature to a facewidth direction of the corresponding tooth. The decelerating-side tooth surface is formed so that a center of the circular arc curvature is located apart in a facewidth direction of the tooth of the drive gear from a plane perpendicular to the facewidth direction in a middle in the facewidth direction toward an opposite side from a portion of the decelerating-side tooth surface that contacts the corresponding tooth of the driven gear at the time when the transmitted torque is maximum.
