    摘要: A facsimile apparatus includes a recording-paper feeding mechanism for feeding a recording paper. A setting device serves to set whether or not saving the recording paper is required. A receiving device serves to receive image information. A printing head serves to sequentially print line parts of an image, which is represented by the received image information, on the recording paper. In cases where the setting device sets a requirement of saving the recording paper, the recording-paper feeding mechanism is controlled so as to reduce a distance by which the recording paper is fed with respect to one line part of the image.

    摘要: In order to improve vibration absorbency and impact absorbency, the seat structure includes a swing member provided in a manner to be able to swing at least back and forth on a rear frame member positioned around the rear of a seat cushion, a pelvis supporting member connected to the swing member at the vicinity of the lower portion of the pelvis supporting member and disposed behind the pelvis of a seated person, and coil springs as an elastic member to support the pelvis supporting member biasing in the direction pushing forwards in a normal seating state. Accordingly, vibration inputted from the seat back side and as if patting on the back of the human body can be absorbed by the pelvis supporting member supported elastically. Besides, since the pelvis supporting member is connected to the rear frame member via the swing member, since pivoting movement in the back-and-forth direction of the pelvis supporting member is performed with a connecting portion of the swing member and the rear frame member as the center, and the radius of gyration is large, the vicinity of the lower portion of the pelvis supporting member never presses the pelvis.

A fatigue degree measurement device 1 includes: a living body signal peak value detecting means 23 to detect the peak values of respective cycles of the original waveform of the living body signal data; a power value calculating means 24 to calculate the difference between a peak value on the upper limit side and a peak value on the lower limit side for every prescribed time period from respective peak values obtained by the living body signal peak value detecting means 23 to set the difference as a power value; and a power value inclination calculating means 25 to determine the inclination of the power value, to calculate an integral value by absolute value treatment of the time series signals of the inclination of the power values to determine the integral value as the degree of fatigue. As a result, it becomes possible to realize quantification of a human fatigue degree.

In response to the output demand of the guidance information through an inputting unit, a control unit obtains a distance to the intersection and an advancing direction in the intersection and further reads out the corresponding sound data from a sound storing unit. This sound data is outputted through a speech synthesizing unit and a voice outputting unit.

An image signal is transmitted from an image data store unit to the telephone line in cases where the facsimile signal receiver receives a response facsimile signal during a predetermined period after the automatic dial device transmits a dial signal. The telephone line is opened in cases where a busy signal is detected by a busy signal detector during the predetermined period after the automatic dial device transmits a dial signal. The telephone line is opened in cases where the busy signal detector continues to not detect a busy signal during the predetermined period after the automatic dial device transmits a dial signal. A communication failure is indicated in cases where the busy signal detector continues to not detect a busy signal during the predetermined period after the automatic dial device transmits a dial signal.
