摘要： Provided is a solid polyelectrolyte fuel cell capable of suppressing a gas leak between a fuel electrode film side and an oxide electrode film side by suppressing deterioration of a solid polyelectrolyte film on its peripheral side. A solid polyelectrolyte fuel cell includes: a cell in which electrode films are provided on one side and the other side of a solid polyelectrolyte film, respectively; a first gas diffusion layer provided so as to cover the electrode film on one side of the cell; a second gas diffusion layer provided so as to cover the electrode film on the other side of the cell; and separators provided on the one side and the other side of the cell, respectively, with the gas diffusion layers interposed therebetween. The solid polyelectrolyte fuel cell includes: first insulating layers which are provided between the solid polyelectrolyte film of the cell and the gas diffusion layers and have electrical insulating properties; and second insulating layers which are provided on peripheral edges of the gas diffusion layers and have electrical insulating properties.

摘要： A fuel cell membrane electrode having a cathode catalyst layer on one surface of a polymer electrolyte membrane, and an anode catalyst layer on the other surface of the membrane, the cathode catalyst layer being supplied with an oxygen-containing gas, and the anode catalyst layer being supplied with a hydrogen-containing gas, and wherein an active oxygen removing layer containing an active oxygen removing material is provided on at least one of interfaces between the membrane and the catalyst layers coated on both surfaces of the membrane, and the active oxygen removing material is CO3O4, Sb2O4, activated carbon, or a solid acid catalyst; and a fuel cell using the membrane electrode.

摘要： Disclosed is a sieve including a mixing space, a sieving space, and a mixture transport space formed therein. A mesh for holding an active material in the mixing space is arranged in the undermost part of the mixing space. A gas containing a powder of a conductive material is supplied from a lower part of the mesh toward an upper part of the mesh to float the active material placed on the mesh and cause the collision between floating particles of the active material and particles of the conductive material, thereby producing particles of a mixture. Among the particles of the mixture, particles having particle sizes equal to or smaller than a desired particle size range rise up from the mixing space to the mixture transport space through the sieving space, while particles having relatively large particle sizes do not reach the mixture transport space.
