摘要: The present invention discloses a device and method for eliminating an interfering wave and determining the best orientation for an antenna. A SAW (surface acoustic wave) filter employed in the invention eliminates an interfering wave (a ground analog broadcasting wave) and extracts a video-signal element of a specified channel (a bandwidth of 6 MHz) from an input intermediate-frequency signal so as to output to an A/D converter. The arrangement of the filter, which is a band pass filter having a comb-shaped attenuation characteristic, is such that the first peak of attenuation is made to coincide with the peak of an interfering signal; the A/D converter produces an AGC feedback signal to output to a high-frequency amplifier, an intermediate-frequency amplifier, and an operation unit, respectively; a waveform equalization unit eliminates a ghost image generated due to multi-path interference from the input signal by using an equalizing method such as a learning equalization, a blind equalization, etc., to output to an error correction unit and, also, to output a filter tap coefficient used for the equalization to the operation unit; and, then, the error correction unit corrects an error of the input signal by using a Read-Solomon code and a Trellis code to output to a demultiplexer and, also, to output the error-rate information of the input signal to the operation unit.

摘要: An apparatus for reproducing information from a disc-shaped record medium, which comprises an optical reading head for reading a program information signal and absolute time data from an optical disc, a reading position driving portion for moving a reading position set by the optical reading head on the optical disc, an information reproducing portion for obtaining a reproduced program information signal and reproduced absolute time data based on outputs from the optical reading head, a memory portion for storing the reproduced absolute time data, a reference time data supplying portion for supplying reference time data corresponding to the absolute time data, a data comparing portion for comparing the reproduced absolute time data read from the memory portion with the reference time data supplied from the reference time data supplying portion, a control signal producing portion for forming a reading position control signal in response to a comparison output from the data comparing portion, and a reading position control portion for controlling in response to the reading position control signal the reading position driving portion so as to cause the reading position set by the optical reading head on the optical disc to reach a position corresponding to the reference time data.

摘要: A band-pass filter separates an audio intermediate frequency signal from an input intermediate frequency signal, and an A/D converter circuit converts the audio intermediate frequency signal into a digital signal. A DSP performs audio detection on the digital signal and forms an AGC signal based on the signal. A variable gain amplifier performs AGC on the audio intermediate frequency signal in response to the AGC signal. A bandpass filter separates and takes out a video intermediate frequency signal from the signal, and an A/D converter circuit converts the video intermediate frequency signal into a digital signal. A DSP performs video detection on the signal. An AGC signal is formed based on the signals and AGC is performed on the video intermediate frequency signals by using the AGC signal.
