    摘要: An equalizer includes: a replica generation means for generating a replica of a multipath component by applying an adaptive filter to a received signal; a removal means for generating a multipath-component removed signal from which the multipath component has been removed by subtracting the replica from the received signal; a correlation value calculation means for calculating a correlation value between the received signal and the replica; a power value calculation means for calculating a power value of the replica; a determination means for determining whether the replica is the replica of the multipath component based on the correlation value and the power value; and a selection means for outputting the multipath-component removed signal when it is determined that the replica is the replica of the multipath component, and outputting the received signal when it is determined that the replica is not the replica of the multipath component.

    摘要: An adaptive channel estimator for estimating channel frequency responses when receiving OFDM symbols. The adaptive channel estimator comprises a channel estimator and a channel tracking module. The channel estimator generates one first channel frequency response for each OFDM symbol when operated in the first mode, and generates the channel frequency responses of a second channel frequency response for every N-th OFDM symbols when operated in the second mode, wherein N is a constant integer exceeding one and j is a non-negative integer. The channel tracking module indicates a channel status, and controls the channel estimator to operate in a first mode or a second mode according to the channel status.

Doppler frequency detector (108) detects the Doppler frequency from the received signal and measures the Doppler shift amount. The Doppler shift amount serves as an indicator of the moving speed of the mobile station apparatus. Interference power measurer (110) measures interference power from other cells. Known signal obtainer (104), SIR measurer (106), Doppler frequency detector (108), and interference power measurer (110) constitute a propagation environment estimator in this embodiment. Based on the SIR, Doppler shift amount, and interference power, receiving scheme selector (112) selects a receiving scheme of either RAKE reception or linear equalization.
